The camouflage file of version 0.9.11 is completely identical to version 0.9.12 and does not require updates.

I was wrong with the versions. I thought that version 0.9.12 is already up to date)

Unfortunately, it looks like the camos have reverted back to their vanilla configurations for me.

Hello! All the same, there is no difference between the camouflages.xml files version 0.9.11 and 0.9.12 - they are the same)

Therefore, the modification worked (at least there were no negative reviews, although I don't even know how many people install the modification) in version 0.9.11 it will also work and in the new version. I checked - I'm fine - although my version is slightly different by adding a couple of almost new camouflages.

Specify the location of the mod, especially for the folder numbers - it should be like this - World_of_Warships\bin\3245976\res_mods.
Hope everything goes well. Report the result. Tomorrow evening (Moscow time) I will update the topic.

When I looked in the bin folder, I found both "3173843" and "3245976" folders.  The "3173843" folder is where the mod that I downloaded from the first post installs to.  I took the res_mods folder and moved it into the correct folder and it works now.

I love it!  I do have a permanent camo for Lexington that isn't affected, I'm not sure if it's because it's historical (it's fairly muted) or what.

Thank you.

The company had slightly the wrong colors in my opinion, and so I changed the palette of most of the US (and other countries) ships in the hope of achieving a better match with reality.  And it is probably true compared to the standard version, it has become more faded).

Online example: Saratoga's profile (Lexington uses her camouflage). The image is not of the highest quality - but it is still noticeable that there is no blue tint as in the standard game, but there is some gray (ocean gray probably). 8fe54b8d65b2ecf2563b4cc86c7007d5.thumb.jpg.44e0e4b519dab2ffcab823b2e5640ceb.jpg

Modification updated for version 0.9.12.
Added camouflage for cruiser Köln 1941 and summer 1942 based on works by Tanz.

Added camouflage for cruiser Nürnberg 1941 based on works by Edelweisse and scheme for 1943 based on Company camouflage.

Spoiler

Added Admiralty standard schemes for Jervis and Trafalgar (Battle-class, Jutland sistership). In the future, I will fill in some gaps in the English coloring with similar schemes (well, or I will make these schemes a variant of economic camouflage - these schemes were carried by all ships except Medea and Weymouth - so everyone will receive them in the future)

Spoiler

I also added a Vauquelin paint with a tactical number, which I entered into the camouflage file, without adding the template itself. I have few ships and a similar error is possible unfortunately. In the future, I will gradually add new schemes, edit colors (I want to make the British a little more contrasting).

Hey.
Sorry, a bug was found. Thanks for helping comrade mrblueskye
Tashkent was not loaded in the port when choosing and had to leave the game in an emergency way.
Now everything has been fixed. By the way, I included the (previously monochromatic) permanent camouflages of the French (tactical numbers on all except Kleber, unfortunately it remains gray for now)) and Soviet destroyers and the cruiser Chapaev. In most cases, I used pre-made type 5.
I also updated the Cirocco circuit - his wave was too graceful - not like in reality.                                                                          shot-20_12_23_21_23.35-0929.thumb.jpg.06edc461d7fe8d76297e6afb33a24312.jpg

@Albrecht_Brandi any new updates.....:Smile_playing:

One of these days I'll post (When I finish a couple of ships - what would look like a more complete update). Changed the ranked camouflages and slowly adding type 2 for the Germans. I use simple schemes that existed in reality, which I may someday replace. An example is Scheer in 1944.

Update. Addition of a series of camouflages for some American and German ships.

Thanks to @Swedgin381 , which allowed his work to be used in this mod, some American battleships and cruisers received the Measure 22 camouflage.
Type 2 camouflage was received by battleships New Mexico, Colorado, Iowa, Montana, Kansas, Minnesota, Vermont.

In the future, I will add Measure 22 to other ships. Thank you Swedgin381!

Also added paintwork for some German battleships and cruisers. For the most part, I used the contrasting fore and aft coloration that was common in the Kriegsmarine.
The battleships Bismarck, Friedrich Der Grosse, and Grosser Kurfürst received Type 2 camouflage.

Spoiler

Bismarck. Autumn 1940.

Hindenburg received a scheme similar to Friedrich der Grosse.

By the way, Bismarck also received a "new" permanent camouflage - the historical camouflage of Sam's cat). He also received a type 5 camouflage that was on him at the time of his death - painted over Baltic stripes and preserved dark extremities and a false wave.

There are no screenshots of some of the ships, since I do not have these ships.

For now, I'll leave a link here, not on the first page. I hope there will be no errors or crashes. Let me know about them.

@Albrecht_Brandi Thanks for these comrade.

This is just so much simpler and user-friendly to enable via the camouflage method, and the plus is that they are all historical.

Don't stop, keep supplying us with these. :Smile_honoring:

There is still a lot to change.  Some ships are still without camouflages, some camouflages such as New Year's or holiday ones with the characteristics of permanent camouflage have not been changed - you will have to think of something with them, since they are widely used among players.  It is also worth changing the alternative color of the camouflage - I now have it in one color.  I think we need to do something to make the gray ships smaller.

Hello! I am gradually adjusting the mod for version 0.10. There are not many changes (as we would like) compared to the previous modification update. I copy / paste more in the camouflage file, which is a bit dreary). I'll post the current version by Saturday.

Modification has been updated and available for download in 1 topic post

I remembered HMCS Haida and the fact that there are several camouflages there. In the end, I removed the name, tactical number and made three camouflages for it:

Spoiler

1) Standard permanent - HMCS Haida itself (Company scheme with a completed number).

shot-21_01.19_23_48.04-0237.thumb.jpg.2d673c5bbd5a945c931843c110b25ae5.jpg

2) Maple Leaf - HMCS Athabaskan.

shot-21_01.19_23_31.50-0622.thumb.jpg.adb7ab9afbf96655f05c326a1feedbe4.jpg

3) British Commonwealth - HMCS Huron.

shot-21_01.19_23_25.12-0535.thumb.jpg.3ab628da2a43f733ace2b278cc26bb73.jpg

If you own this ship, please check the camouflage functionality, since I don't have a Haida. Please tell me if everything is normal.
Included the Company camouflage for the Myoko and Nagato (changed the color scheme for Nagato).

Spoiler

shot-21_01.22_23_06.00-0913.thumb.jpg.7e04d4c814313caee809ccd6aa6f4b92.jpg

I also added type 5 camouflage for Kongō, which is also a replacement for the permanent Arpeggio camouflage for his sisterships. The camouflage appears to be the 1945 Haruna coloring (by the way, I noticed that I did not shade some parts of the bridge - I will fix it in a future update). In reality, apparently only a couple of bow towers were painted, but in the game all towers and casemant guns were painted - game mechanics ..

Spoiler

shot-21_01.22_22_50.34-0097.thumb.jpg.8ee20b46352d4525d7b944fdf89b958c.jpg

I changed the colors (the scheme itself remained standard) of the destroyer HMS Harvester (Jurua), but unfortunately I did not have time to paint over the Brazilian number - I will also make everything better in a future update)

Forgot the most important thing in my little update.  I understand that my modification is quite gray, it is realistic, but a little boring.  Therefore, I made the same alternate and standard colors on all ships that have a complex scheme (and not one tone).  Now players' ships that use alternative colors, previously displayed as gray, will have a brighter color .. So this is not a bug when you switch colors, but you do not see the changes)

It's just that now there is no particular mood to do this - work, home, and I'm still a player who sometimes wants to play)
I hope there will be no crashes - but if anything, please report bugs.
I am still waiting for advice, help, criticism.

Hello! I found one problem - I forgot to add modified textures without tactical number for Haida. Download and install the small add-on below.

fix tactical number Haida 0.10.rar

Also, unfortunately, there was a signal about a possible error.
I will look for her.
Please report if you have any problems with the game.
If there is an error, clear (do not forget to save your version of the folder) the * res_mods * folder and install the camouflage mod to the clean version.
Thank you.

Hello everyone again. Unfortunately, in this update, I made a more critical error than incorrect display of Haida numbers. Probably I was in a hurry with the release of the update.

I made a mistake in the color code of the ships that use 5H Haze gray - Vermouth, Salem, Des Moines, Worcester, Roosevelt, Midway, Austin. I hope you didn't get this error, unlike fellow @mrblueskye, who unfortunately ran into this bug.
Thanks to him I found this problem, changed the camouflage file a bit.
Thanks to him.

I am currently working on a different version of the camouflage file in order to prevent future mistakes due to my forgetfulness. At the moment I am testing it for problems.

I hope all be fine.

I can't help but share) Even if this scheme is fantastic (or an unrealized sketch), then it has more rights than the scheme that is now on Exeter (if only because the scheme of permanent camouflage, although a sister ship, but someone else's - especially considering that York had special silhouette).
Maybe someday we'll create something like that)

I postponed this information, for now I am just collecting information about the reality of this scheme from more knowledgeable people.  I still have gaps in the modification that I haven't filled in properly, and it won't be very good if I jump into creating a new paint now.

Update. Links to download files at the end of the post)

The Brazilian destroyer Juruá received the paintwork for who it really was - HMS Harvester. To be honest, the standard Juruá camouflage is the HMS Harvester coloration, but with changed colors, and some inaccuracies, which are not as interesting to edit as to create something new). If he is given any second camouflage, change that one too.

shot-21_02.12_23_23.43-0555.thumb.jpg.2065447d571b86fb81c7ea4a161d334f.jpg

Changed the Missouri permanent camouflage 2. Thanks to Swedgin381, the ship acquired its historical coloring from 1952-53. The MS22 scheme was saved in the form of an economic camouflage (this feint, by the way, will be possible in time for other ships with strange camouflages, so that the player can paint the ship in his favorite color, although it has nothing to do with reality).

Spoiler

shot-21_02.12_23_20.22-0664.thumb.jpg.f83f91f788ac6a0d14b131f1a7dd3bd9.jpg

Cossack received a historical two-ton main permanent camouflage that was on it at the time of death. Perhaps in the future I will also use it as a historical and non-historical color of Sam's cat. Although for Sam, you can simply make a one-color scheme with a tactical number, which was during the pursuit of Bismarck.
His Royal Navy scheme has also been changed - I used (to the delight of the Australians) my Arunta scheme.

Spoiler

Icarus received the Isis camouflage, in which she was seen off the coast of Syria in June 1941. There are some inaccuracies (at least marks on the pipes - I think some of the stripes were still red, for example) - I found only one photo of not the best quality, unfortunately, but I'm glad for that too.

Spoiler

shot-21_02.12_23_19.38-0865.thumb.jpg.ea7bd772b56f9d9467888e779b78d6e8.jpg

Ernst Gaede received the type 1 camouflage for destroyer Z28, which was created on the basis of the skin of comrade Tanz. Some other changes also happened with Ernst Gaede - my camouflage, based on unrealized sketches, became a New Year's camouflage, while permanent camouflage is now used as a type 5 camouflage.

Well, the final of this update ..

I have disabled all Asian camouflages. At the same time, you can download an archive that will give tactical numbers for Tier 6-10 destroyers (except for Gadjah Mada for now). In most cases, I used the work of fellow USNA_76.
The archive contains the textures of both the destroyers themselves and the textures of the rest of the Pan-Asian ships. The ships of this nation have a slightly greenish shade of textures, which shines through through camouflage - the combination of gray and green, frankly, annoys me, so the colors of all textures (including weapons, directors, etc.) i made less saturated (more gray). Below is an example - before / after. Without using this add-on, you will simply get gray ships.

Spoiler

shot-21_02.12_18_49.53-0420.thumb.jpg.3960a05f739d1b088ba3b502e32aa864.jpg

I'm waiting for your feedback.

Download Simply Gray Paint + Historical camouflage v3 for 0.10.0.

Download archive of gray Asian ships.

Unpack the archive with Asian ships textures into the res mods folder of the current version of the game. If you like it, I will transfer this addition to the textures of Europeans and Japanese in 1 post.

@Albrecht_Brandi; Can't see any glaring problems,

On the positive side from a user's perspective, It is so easy to update and activate, and the big plus is EVERY ship's camouflage is not compromised by another ship's camouflage because there is no folder sharing per-say.

Previously, I had always used the standard way to enable skins and I'd never given much thought to this style of skinning being enabled via the in-game camouflage. One ship can have multiple historical schemes using this method. :Smile_medal:
