Board software provides a back office view of these activities, while invisible to the community, is easily tracked from an administraters dashboard. I for one would support reinstating negative rep, but it wouldn't just be like positive rep(# of uses). I am not sure how negative rep worked before, but what if they made it so you could only give out say 3 neg rep a day and 6 positive rep. Something like that could possible discourage negativity overload and also make it so others could easily cancel out any undeserved neg rep. just my two cents.
