Pan-Asian Cruisers Not Counted in Naval Battles?

Probably because all the PA cruisers are premiums (I think) and they don't want to give the advantage to a clan that had to pay for something.

The rule has always been that in order to count for naval battles your ship has to be either a tech tree ship, or a ship from a nation that has a tech tree in its class.

Counts:

Gearing (tech tree)

Ohio (premium USN BB.  There is a USN BB tech tree)

Doesn't count:

Graf Zepplin (premium KM CV.  there is no KM CV tech tree)

Friesland (premium pan-european DD.  Doesn't count because there is no pan-european DD tech tree... yet!  Once that tree goes live you'll be able to use Friesland for naval battles.)

There is no pan-asian cruiser tech tree, just 4 different premiums.  As @Old_Baldy_One says, it's to avoid giving an advantage to a clan with lots of premium ships, which would essentially be a form of pay-to-win.

Because there's not enough PA Cruisers.  They're all only Premiums, of which there are only 3:  VI Huang He, VIII Wukong, VIII Irian.

The same thing happened to ITA Cruisers before the ITA Cruiser Line released.  VI Duca D'Aosta and VII Abruzzi didn't count.

The same thing is happening right now to Commonwealth (Perth for Cruisers) and Europe (Blys and Friesland for DDs).  There's not enough of them.

German CV Tier VIII Graf Zeppelin is the sole representative for that national ship type, she still doesn't count.

There's a third that was added recently, the Charles Martel clone at tier 8.  Don't remember the name.

Yeah, Wukong, forgot all about that.  I'll edit my post.

Another one I forgot about was Graf Zeppelin, the sole German CV representative.  She doesn't count at all.

Any reason for this?
