Been awhile since I played and on max settings I am getting like 16 to 14 fps on max settings. I am unsure how this is even impossible when every other game I play runs smoother then butter.

32 gigs of Ram

i7 9700k

rtx 2070

all his on my alienware aurora should run the game fine and with a 240 refresh rate monitor. Am I missing something? INB4 "hur ur pc sux skrub" I use to play this game on a legit craptop and it ran perfectly even on high settings. What's going on here?

Sorry if I am posting in the wrong section or not but I felt necessary.

On Twitter Flamu had issues with the game running in borderless mode with Gsync. The workaround was to turn off Gsync for those circumstances. Full-screen is unaffected.

Are you running any programs or having other windows open as you play ???

Did you update your GPU drivers ?

I have full screen enabled and get the same result either way sigh... should I turn gsync off possibly?

Ping/lag spikes are real.

But they aren't always from the PC/Laptop.  They can be from the server or from the internet-service-provider experiencing traffic jams on the internet pathways.

No it is lag all around, my net has nothing to do with it, I get explosive lag straight out of heck in port and battle.

Message received.  Thanks for the clarification.

I was having problems the other night.  But they might have been temporary or local to me (New Hampshire).

Oh boy! Um.

Do me a huge favor... (because I am thinking you installed your drivers wrong)... Go back to your GPU driver manufacture

  1. DL the correct driver for your card..
  2. Manually install them WITH the option of clean install fully.
    • This means doing for example for GTX card (if you use the same GPU company you will see it),
      • Clicking on manual install..
      • Click and check the box for clean install.
      • Click ok...

Now, I am not saying this is the only thing wrong here... But I do think you have a GPU driver conflict.

Once this is done will see what use is wrong.

I'll make sure to make a note of that for the next guy :Smile_glasses:...

TY for the feed back.

As for my recommendation, (even though it was not nesecery for now), manually install your GPU drivers.

Don't  feel bad. Many years ago when I started my first tech business we had a FURIOUS man call us ..he was besides himself and fuming.  NO VIDEO and he spent 500 on a GPU...... Yeah you guessed it. Had his monitor plugged into the stock VGA.... That was an expensive oversight.  At least you figured it out!!  GJ

Please stop. Every post someone have with game you looking to nit pick at people computer or installation when it , in this case, is more likely a game setting.

Update : Cable setting.

Not every problem is solve by drivers or instillation or something.

Nope,

Its a forum and if they ask for help the worst one can do is remain silent...

Telling someone to stop helping or to remain silent instead of troubleshooting the problem with anyone who is in distress. Its the wrong approach.

In the OPs case... Cables would've been the last thing on the troubleshooting list, based on what he disclosed.

SOMETHING is definitely F*g wrong.  I get better fps than that on a machine that's old enough to be his grandfather.

I'd back out *everything* and start over.  Even a munged driver shouldn't be that bad.  Instead of video, I'd look at audio and the net stack.

Don't expect to get more than a hundred frames per second in this game.. The reason being this game is not multi-thread supported. It is humping the hell out of single core.. Unlike World of Tanks. They fixed it  making it multi-core support.

CAN NO ONE READ ??  I'm not talking about me!  I get ~30 fps but that's fine.  I'm talking about the OP, who I now suspect to be a troll.  But what's your excuse?
