It's almost not worth posting this, since WG will be pulling Narai for some time and the people that need to read it probably never come to the forum.

When a CL goes for the transports, sinks the DD and deals with the shore battery Squire, then remains in position to take out the five transports, don't snipe the transports.  That person has risked his ship for the team.  Let him get the Shark Among Shrimps award which gives him nothing but bragging rights.

I've been playing BBs all day, and have been posting the same in chat after the Missouri gets sunk.  I know I"m not alone in my sentiment as several CLs have thanked me for saying it, even if it falls on deaf ears.

Good sportsmanship goes a long way, even in a pixel game.

You get 10 outta 10 for that. Well stated.

Another +1 from me. I get so irritated with it that I give negative karma for it. Childish for sure but I feel better, some...

Hell, Narai is easy, try it in Killer Whale, I still haven't been able to pull that one off but once I think.

Good sportsmanship goes a long way, even in a pixel game.

Main issue I've seen is

  1. Cruisers not communicating from the start who will get the transport/CV
  2. They start heading south to late, in turn he is struggling with the transports even after the rest of the fleet sunk the MO.
  3. He takes to long to rejoin the fleet
  4. He goes wide as if they're weaponized ships
  5. He is OOP to finish the sinking of the ships to where the fleet need to bail him out
  6. Fleet make up may require a cruiser and a DD for the convey...
    • In turn when they're heading south, the fast BB goes for the CV while every one else defends the convey.

These issues noted above, are the main reasons I've seen failed attempt at getting the ribbon.

Im personally not bothered if I dont get yet another shark amongst shrimps if I am going for the tpts.

That said, I dont snipe anothers going for the tpts, its as some stated "poor sportsmanships" for those that value a couple of pixles.

Mostly, I dont like it when I call tpts (but always ask if anybody else wants it first), nobody says otherwise, I commit to the tpts (say half way out, shooting the DD) then another team mate or two goes for them. Consequently, this costs us a star in most cases as our tpts enter the landing zone under escorted.

So, Ill say its lacking the ability to be a team player if more than one of you is goes for the enemy transports. Especially if somebody has called it without objection. Same goes for CV.

Lastly, BBs, be a team player and shoot Squire to help the guy going for the tpts. It makes his/her life that much easier.

Shark among shrimps is a good thing, for you and your team.

If only 1 ship does this, then everyone else can focus on Missouri and getting the CV before he even leaves the basin (I have only done this once, but is possible).  At the very least it makes the other objectives that much easier.

IMO Boise is best for this with IFHE as you can leave early and not worry about Iron Duke (with Boise heal) although Yorck can do anything in this OP but Yorck torps are wasted on transports - much better on MO.
