My next line splits ideas

What should my next line split suggestion?

  1. 1. Which one would you like to see first?

    • British Battleship split from tier 3 to tier 10.
    • American Battlecruisers from tier 3 to tier 8.

I decided that I'm going to finally make a line split suggestion that isn't just the U.S.N. battleship split again as my last one was supposed to be my final U.S. BB suggestion. This doesn't mean it won't change just that I really don't want to try and make another that's completely different. Anyway my next line splits are the following with their pros and cons.

British battleship split.

Spoiler

Heavy guns line

Pros

  1. They carry 457mm guns from tiers 9 to 10.
  2. Higher average damage.
  3. Ships from tiers 7-10 use the Nelson or Izumo turret setup
  4. Tiers 3-6, 8 are all built ships that saw combat
  5.  Their secondary's all fire AP (with the same treatment as a British light cruiser's AP Shell)

Cons

  1. They lack the British battleships super heal instead they have a standard heal.
  2. Tier 9 uses the same shells that were used on H.M.S. Furious
  3. Tier 8 has a longer than average reload.
  4. No aft main battery guns for tiers 7-10.
  5. Most ships in the line go at 21-23knots.

Light guns line

Pros

  1. Their guns have faster reloads than most equal tier ships.
  2. Higher average damage.
  3. The line's tier 7-10 both have the British super heal.
  4. The line contains on average faster ships.
  5. Tiers 3-7 are all built ships that saw service.

Cons

  1. Their lower gun caliber makes them rely on HE more.
  2. The line has lower over all alpha.
  3.  They can't overmatch 30mm armor.

German Panzerschiffe.

Pros

  1. They carry the heaviest guns for a cruiser at their tier.
  2. Best secondary accuracy in the game.
  3. They all carry German hydro.
  4. All of them carry torps.

Cons

  1. Their secondary's all have 2% fire chance.
  2. Only 6 main battery guns on every ship in the line.
  3. Fires last 45sec
  4. Weak armor for the size of the ships.
  5. Mostly paper ship

American Battlecruisers

Pros

  1. All ships in the line are really fast for their tier.
  2. Most ships have a ludicrous HP pool to absorb damage.
  3. The tier 8 has better armor than the North Carolina.
  4. Larger caliber guns than the other equal tier tech tree Battleships for tiers 3 and 6.
  5. The tier 8 leads to both North Carolina and Iowa.

Cons

  1. Tiers 3, 4 , 6, and 7 all have horrible armor.
  2. All ships have a horrible camo rating.
  3. Most of the ships in the line have no versatility.
  4. No real consistent progression.
  5. All of the ships are paper or were cancelled.

Japanese Super Cruisers

Pros

  1. All of the ships in the line have Slava's dispersion formula (or at least how it's supposed to work)
  2. Tiers 8 and 9 have 2.05 sigma.
  3. The tier 10 has 2.1 sigma.

Cons

  1. All ships have 25mm bow/stern armor
  2. The tier 9 and 10 are paper ships.

My top choice would be British battlecruisers actually.

I didn't pick them because the most original thing I could think of is H.M.S. Courageous at tier 4 and Incomparable at tier 8-9.

UK Battlecruisers. So many good choices.

Tier 3 Invincible

Tier 4 Princess Royal

Tier 5 Tiger

Tier 6 Admiral class design pre-Jutland 'Anson'

Tier 7 Renown as upgraded for WW2

Tier 8 G3 Design as conceived in 1920-21 'Agamemnon'

Tier 9 Incomparable design 'Howe'

Tier 10 battlecruiser variant of Conqueror 'Superb'

The problem wasn't the lack of choices it was I didn't feel I could make it that different from other British BC line suggestions that I have seen. In fact it was supposed to come with the American BC line both were going to tier 10, however both lines didn't feel right so I scrapped the tier 9 and 10 for the U.S. line and I stopped the British line for the aforementioned reason above.

The British BC's were going to be...

Tier 3 H.M.S. Indefatigable

Tier 4 H.M.S. Courageous

Tier 5 H.M.S. Tiger

Tier 6 H.M.S. Renown or Repulse

Tier 7 H.M.S. Howe (Admiral class battlecruiser)

Tier 8 H.M.S. Incomparable

Tier 9 H.M.S. Anson (modernized G3)

Tier 10 H.M.S. Jackie Fisher (modernized K3)

I would have Princess Royal at Tier 4, and have Courageous as a Premium ship.
