So can anyone explain to me how the controls are really going to work? Considering battleships had many massive guns, and many AA guns as well.

 

So I guess for battle ships and for aircraft carriers, does anyone have an idea about this?

I'm fairly new to the forums, but from what I have gathered while viewing various articles, it seems that you have direct control over your ship's movement and it's main guns. An AI will assist you in controlling secondary guns, such as AA batteries stationed on your ship. You may be able to switch weapon types depending on the ship, such as destroyers that have small caliber guns but rely on torpedoes. However, all of this is just speculation and what I've read on other articles. I'll see if I can get some links for you.

 

EDIT: Ok, thankfully, there is a thread that can answer some general questions for you. A lot of things are still in development and nothing is set in stone just yet, but hope this gives you a general idea.

that link should have the info but from what i know you'll have control over the main guns and ai will control the AA guns

I been looking all over to find out if there will be the colorblind mod like they have in graphics settings in WOT, does anyone know?

Because I am colorblind and when they added that to WOT in settings, it made the game so much better to play,

I don't see it discussed anywhere,

Fantasic question, I would assume that the Devs are going to make it similar as to WoT in that respect. Although i cant find any info on it on the forums as yet, you might want to ask in the Devs Q&A topic

The game is not even in Alpha testing yet, there is no download currently.

The reason he is a bit irate is that the information you were looking for is in the FAQ and Q&A sections.  Feel free to hang out, get to know folks, and read up on what is coming.  You'll find that we are mostly civil people here, though at times some of us do get short tempered, myself included.

well only reason i came bout this game is cuz i play wot an well i just bought gold on that game an saw that there was two other games like it  an well im a fan of battle ship the movie an this is more  like me  :) i sure wished its out though i would so love to play it a.s.a.p  :(

That is part of why most of us are here mate.  If it went live today, I'd be downloading it.  If alpha started today and I was invited for testing, I'd be downloading, same for closed and open beta.  But there is more to it that just waiting.  The devs are talking to us here, giving us information on how things are going to be, how things are progressing, and they even listen to suggestions and ideas.

 

So, while you can't download and play today, you can get involved.  Just read the faq and Q&A, then jump in with both feet.

I thought it odd that you came into a post that had multiple links to the Q&A thread, kudos issued to new users for actually reading those threads and looking around the forums before posting questions answered in them, and then posted a question that gets asked two and three times a day in various threads by newcomers.  It looked like you were trying to troll or make a joke.
