It can all disappear in the blink of an eye (e.g. your computer breaks down, the Internet is knocked out by a solar flare, your WiFI connection is destroyed by a thunderstorm, etc.) And I hope that everyone realizes that is it FAR BETTER and FAR MORE ENJOYABLE to spend quality time with family and friends and RUN A REAL LIFE than grinding away for digital ships. Thank you Zoup, for making this video and saying what needs to be said. 1

Despite these kits being woefully overpriced (just like digital ships), it still provides a certain degree of enjoyment and/or entertainment (just like digital ships). I have all the time in the world to work on these. If I had a job, there's no way I would be able to complete even one in any amount of detail. Each step on the Constitution model takes 2 to 3 days. For the same price of a premium ship or less you can have an exact scale replica to place on your shelf. Don't fool yourself. Scale models these days can be close to museum quality. Start with the smaller 1/700 scale and as you get better move up to the 1/350 and 1/200 scale ships. Here are some samples of what you can do:

I have the Missouri, Yamato, and Fletcher sitting above my desk in 1/350 scale. Still have an i-400 to put together too. The Tamiya kits are top notch for these, and the biggest problem I have is finding space to put any more! (that's one of the few advantages to a digital boat collection).

True, but so can using your digital model to sink somebody else's lol. I get the idea though. Myself, I watch very little TV. (basically just the odd really good series or movie) I prefer video games, because they're interactive. (which is why I prefer PC gaming to modelling, which I used to do a lot) I also prefer interactions with family and friends, which is why I limit my gaming time to when those are unavailable, and why I would never even consider an event grind. I just play, and get what I get.
