The Update 0.9.0 is here, so please provide any bug reports you may encounter here.

If you're fairly certain you've encountered a bug, we'd like to encourage you to submit it to the Game Support section of the WoWS ticket queues, within a section where bugs are asked for, or to create a post within this sub-forum.

 

Remove your mods and try again before sending in a bug report as mods tend to be the culprit. 

 

I do ask that you please provide any and all information that you can when reporting an issue. 

 

Something that I have noticed that really helps in tracking this sort of thing is if you fill out the following information: 

Issue: This is where you should explain the problem that you're having.

Expected Result: Tell us what should be happening.
How to Replicate: Give us exampleson
 how to reproduce this bug.
Screenshots/Replay/Supporting Info: Screenshots and Replays go a long way, so having this ready to go will really help. 

 

Just some friendly reminders of what a bug is NOT:

An aspect of game design that you disagree with ("This ship needs to be buffed" "That ship needs to be nerfed" "The ocean is the wrong shade of blue")
Items that you feel are missing from your account (almost always this is a problem with your payment method for premium stuff or an interface confusion for the rest)
Historical Inaccuracies
Issues related to your installed mods. - Remove your mods, if you gave any, and try again before sending in a bug report as mods tend to be the culprit.

For each report Please make sure to attach WG Check tool report to your reports! That will help us to better understand the nature of the issue you're experiencing.

Below I have included a download link to our WG Check tool. This diagnostic tool can be used for World of Tanks, World of Warships, and World of Warplanes.

This tool can be used as a way to run a diagnostic check on your game client, check to see if you're missing any game files (it will try and repair them if possible), and to gather necessary information our support team might need to address any tech/bug related issues. 

Once you have downloaded it, open the zip file and run the WGCheck.exe. After it has launched, please select the World of Warships icon and locate its directory. The default location is **C:\Games\World_of_Warships**

- Check the box labeled, *Add game client to the firewall exceptions*.

- Check the box labeled, *Extended network diagnostics*.

- Start the integrity check by selecting the orange *Start Diagnostics* button.

Be patient, it will take some time to finish.

In many instances, this should repair or at the very least diagnose what issue you may be having. 

If it doesn't resolve your issue, then I would like to ask that you please submit a support ticket to our CS team and please send us the WGCheck log that generates after the program has completed its check.

If the file size is too large for the support system, you may have to place it within a .zip file.

Lastly, if you have any mods installed on your PC, please remove them and run the check tool again (check your game client as well to see if removing the mod helped) before sending your info to us here in support.

Communication wheel cap bug with 0.9.0

Only saw this happen on this one map today, but it wouldn't let me selected the B cap, instead it had this placeholder text (note at the top of the wheel in this screenshot.)

This is a known bug, we should have an intermediate fix for it shortly. Please keep an eye out for coms on the matter.

Maybe this isn't the place to ask this, but I'm curious as to why this folder was in my res_mods folder after updating to 0.9.0.

Normally, after updating the game client, only the readme.txt document exists in the new folder. I typically go in to my res_mods folder, move the text document to the previous version folder, delete the new (now empty) folder, and then rename the old version folder to the current game version. Then I delete any outdated mods in that folder to avoid compatibility issues.

But this strange banks folder has me not doing anything at the moment. I've never seen an update put a new version folder in res_mods with anything other than the readme.txt document.

 

@Femennenly any chance you or someone could look into why this is here? Perhaps this is a cause to some of the crash issues people seem to be having? I haven't started my game since updating it a little while ago because I get my res_mods folder in order before playing. I don't want to do anything with this new folder as I'm not sure what deleting it could do for my game.

I am experiencing people firing through land mass. Also everytime I get hit its a Devastating Strike,. What did you guys do this game?

Is there an issue with anything that requires the webserver (Naval Base, Armory, News, etc)?

Mine just spins and spins and spins...  Tried leaving it for a few minutes and coming back before closing it.

There isn't a "webserver unavailable" - just spinning.

my chat server is not loading and nor is the amrory. Already tried restarting the game and that didn't solve anytihng

Yeah, I am seeing the same thing.  I think their Webserver needs to be restarted or something.   My chat, armory, news, naval base/battle.etc are all spinning.

Can't connect to player support.  Game center kept cycling to that can't connect message.  I noticed that the "Play" button seemed live, so I clicked it and the game started and connected... Noticed that all the Twitch streamers were on and playing, so it appears the problem doesn't affect folks who are in the game already.

A possible error on stats on the Tier VIII UK cruiser Albemarle:

The 113mm/45 secondaries show a base range of 3.0km. 

On the tier VII Surrey, its previous generation 102mm/45 secondaries have a base range of 4.7km. 

Have not tested in play to know whether this is a display error, or whether the secondaries are actually limited to 3.0km.

Was in the middle of a Battle using my G. Kurfrust Tier X had 2 Fires and there were 3 seconds left for the fires when it hit 0 and then it hoped back to 40 seconds left for the fires hold this bug gets fixed soon or people be dieing very quickly.

ARP Takao new skin was not delivered.  Not sure if there is something I need to do to  get it or what? The patchnotes were not clear on this. It implied that it would just already be sitting in port.  This seems to be a universal thing.
