Geae, KGB, and any other dev who sees this. Please  never ever go back on your word..

 

The only reason I made this is World of tanks Devs have gone back on their word before... many times now.  They said no teir 10 meds... they add tier 10 meds. They said no CHinese tanks outside of china.. They add a whole damn tree. They said no tier 10 artilary.... They are going to add tier 10 artilary. and these  things were said and happened .. All within a year!

 

So once more please keep this game about ships!

One thing i wanna dd is that the t10 arty that is comming is the t8 as it is now just with a t10 lable on it.

Honestly,I think that subs are so game-breaking that if they were added it would completely mess up the game.

Unfortunately I cannot give any link on where they said it. but i can give you a time frame. It was before they stopped selling the Type 59 and the WZ-111 and the type 62 were relesed as exscusively to the Chinese server i do belive it was Pre 8.0 when they made the statement.. and said they had set upa contract with a chinese company to set up a server in China and said they  would have thier chinese tanks  that would never be seen in the NA, EU, Or russian servers.

Mate, that is one BIG gun. However, it would be so vulnerable to CB fire it would be almost useless.

As I've said before: sub commanders would be bored to death if subs were included in game. On the surface they would be vastly out-gunned and under-armored. Their only asset would be they would be a tiny target. Underwater they would be so slow they wouldn't make it to the battle in time to do much of anything. Subs would be relegated to guarding the flag and, in any encounter, quickly gobbled up by destroyers. ASDIC, (Sonar to you dirtyfeet,) came into it's own in WW2, and all subsequent submarine technology went into the countering of the destroyer's huge technological advantage.

 

The only way subs would ever be a viable ship choice in fleet vs. fleet battles would be if Wargaming gave them fantasy stats. Otherwise, they are a target.

That's so true.  It would probably be a huge PITA for WG to include them and make them viable.

As others have said including submarines would be a nightmare. Having to balance subs(it would be hard no matter what people say) and subs also act very different than normal ships(WorldofWarSHIPS)

Subs would be like arty having to go toe to toe in WoT. At 10 Km/h.Even if they did add them people wouldn't play more than 10 games

I like Submarines , and think they should be in the game if the Dev team wants to add them , I am all for it. Bring on the subs , to me they are the TD's in Naval Warfare.

I agree with this statement completely!! But, the "campers" from WoT coming here will continue to complain until they get a way to sit in the shadows and rack up kills with no skill while the rest of us duke it out toe to toe and get nothing but a huge repair bill....

On the forum rules it states English as the preferred language, however it does not state which variation of it. Therefore by default i assume the "English" part of English applies  :Smile_trollface:
