Rene was a wonderful actor whether playing serious roles or comedy. I don't remember him in the MASH movie, but from "Benson", "DS9"", and from "Boston Legal". He could play a dramatic part or comedic role and was brilliant in either one. It is amazing that he was a Tony Award winner on top of that he was good at singing & dancing as well. Such a loss but what an astounding life and legacy he leaves behind.

Heard the music of City of Angels long before I knew he was in it.

Rest in peace,  "Buddy".

This movie also featured another Trekker, although he wasn't a Trekker then and not after many years later ---- Jason Isaacs.

This clip from STO has both Odo and Nog on it playing a crucial part in this story.   These voice overs were the last contributions both Aron Eisenberg and Rene Auberjonois made to the franchise,  and sad both passed a short time from each other.
