So 9.0 will start a British arc with early access UK CAs T5-T8 available in the armory for random bundles bought for British Tokens. That means that UK CAs should be a full branch off of Danae in 9.1. We should see the UK CA premium(s) London and/or Cheshire somewhere between 9.0 and 9.1. There will be the temp resource British Tokens for 9.0 to get in Directives, Daily combat missions and Daily Shipments. The Victorian perma-camo, that you will likely buy for British Tokens, on the UK CAs looks pretty nice. So there will be a choice of buying perma-camo or random ship bundles. Here is the thread and the camo.

The PA New Year will bring some New Year themed Cmdrs and more PA premiums by 9.0 as well. T8 DD Siliwangi_1959 (30bis Volevoy), T8 CA Wukong (Martel variant), and T9 BB Bajie (Izumo variant). There will be PA containers as well.

can you say "Great White Fleet wannabe"?  the camo is good, dont get me wrong, just saying it looks like its trying to impersonate the GWF, nothing wrong with that either, pure white, or is it a very light grey? and a golden color looks good

Captain Jingles is already being put through his paces in Exeter in preparation for the new heavy cruisers.

Grind your Danaes, everyone.

I have enough XP on mine for Hawkins if the worst happens and I have to take a break.

Actually, they and their perma camos will be available in Random bundles instead of crates. Nothing has been said about crates yet.

It's just a standard paint scheme used by the Royal Navy colonial squadrons, mostly ships posted to the Far East, the West Indies and China to help reduce the heat experienced onboard as well as to identify neutral ships during conflicts such as the Sino-Japanese war. As far as I know the colour scheme has no relation to the paint scheme used by the Great White Fleet.

Because the USN invented white paint...

I suppose the idea of a rank structure, and use of a boatswain's call were invented by the USN as well.

Was just thinking about that...

Did I somehow manage to miss getting one, or you got it from some kind of early release/award/prize?

I think Exeter was earned during an event. It could also be bought, but I'm 99% sure I ground it out, because why not.

Exeter came out in 8.1 with the early access UK CVs IIRC.

You could earn it or buy it.

The Jingles Captain?

I've had Exeter since it came out.

Will have to look when I get home from work.

Of course not! We just perfected them!

Not sure if it still works, it shows "you already claimed this" for me (since I did).

I'm still wondering what the Lunar New Year event will be that involves two brand new themed premium ships and warrants us getting a preview of them as if they're just another ship hitting the supertest servers.

That tells me that you'll be able to get them permanently, but the choices of Izumo and Charles Martel are odd to say the least.

Same here. He'll be posted to Devonshire, the only one I really want.
