PSA- I'm begging all the Angler players to sit down for 1 minute and figure out how the buffs (aka consumables) work. Please stop 'saving' these for 'special events'. The worst times I have is when I run my Angler and have another on my team. I can literally show them how it works in real time, beg them to buff the team in chat, and still exit the portal in amazement as they die with 2/3 of their buffs unshared.

The worst part is that if they used them, they might not be dead.

They don't seem to realise that the buffs aren't consumables as such; they're additive, last for THE ENTIRE BATTLE, and benefit every ally within 5km. The biggest problem I've had is one or more of my ships running off and not being close for me to trigger them, but if I'm low and I have a heal buff, I'm going to pop it to save myself from dying.

They are buffs. You must use them as soon as you get them. BIG CAUTION. To maximize them be sure to have your mates within 5 Kms from you so you got an extra charge of them.

Not just that, but the ones who pop them without trying to get within 5 km of their teammates. If you're playing Angler, the only time you should have consumables is if they're on cooldown or if you're trying to get with 5 km of both your teammates.

I make it a point to use the Angler buffs as soon as I receive them provided my team mates are both within 5km radius of me, because I know the best way to get out with maximum Filth is to have as many buffs added onto our ships as possible. Sadly some players have the standard Consumables mindset of managing Consumables wisely whiteout realizing those are actually Arms Race buffs that are meant to be used as much as possible.

And  to prove how important and powerful these Angler buffs can be, a single Angler on a team can buff a random Twilight team enough that they can easily sink Rasputin and it’s DD escorts.

the real tragedy is they nerfed the heal drop rate!
