It's gone from the port. There was just a news post about it a few days ago.

Laid out some time tonight to finish three directives that were close in the last one.  Didn't finish them last night due to this serious work ethic thing I suffer from.

Logged on this evening...

Oh well.. Guess I have a whole lot more free time now.

Just now, CaptainKaitoGhost said:

They said it ended last night way back before it started.

Problem is that that CRITICAL NEED-TO KNOW information wasn't on hand last night.

WG has a problem keeping dates straight in different places.  In the Armory in the game, the ending date was given as the 12th.

I just got more tokens from the daily mission...  Woot woot...   Sad consolation.

Problem is that this information is buried in news releases often under a different subject... so you must scan through ALL news releases for the last 3 months, VERY CAREFULLY.

Looking for Italian cruiser directives.....   looking....   searching.....  I give up.

AND NO !!   It wasn't found ANYWHERE on the directives pages.

Oh well, breaks my heart I don't have to worry about another set of directives I couldn't be motivated to complete any more.

Same here.  I got the T5 and T6 ship missions completed and tried them out.......  What the heck is this SAP stuff, and why can't I set any fires??

It's a good thing Italy is not a nuclear power because - for heavy cruisers outclassed by bots in a freaking T4 Phoenix....  I'd be a tad upset.

Yeah but try to find that information a month later.

If the event didn't end by permanent deletion of the entire Italian cruiser line, they didn't end it correctly.

To make up for the pitiful performance of these ships, as Italian ships...

We should be allowed to switch sides if the battle is going badly.

...

I can't wait for the T9 and T10 ships of this line come out so I can MELT THEIR FACES with my Des Moines.

There were different event pages for different regions.

Posted October 7th for North America:

Posted October 15th for Europe:

And if you were reading the October 30th news in North America, there was a link ... to the October 15th article for Europe:

It appears that WG doesn't understand that most Americans see November 11, they think of midnight of the 11th, not early in the morning hours.

:Smile_facepalm:

The ending time for events has been pretty constant for YEARS. It's usually 6am EST (3am PST) the day listed. In fact, WG listed EXACTLY that in the patch notes!

Having been burned by this once, I now consider the end date for directives to be Sunday night when I go to bed.

Anything I earn after that is bonus.

Yes, but we have a lot of new(er) players that have yet to figure this out.

I did not say WG does not post the time & dates. I said they do not remind us. The Italian cruiser maybe an exception.

Not only is reading OP these days; so are forward planning and awareness of deadlines.

Got one of the missions for an Italian cruiser. Can't remember which one, couldn't care less. Not heartbroken that I missed the deadline. Life's too short to grind for garbage boats.

It's amusing that the photo you posted to support your ^^^^ statement shows a different time.

The point is that WG lists different dates and times in different places, often without a lot of clarity to how they apply.
