I will also put the tin foil hat on now and say with 100% conviction that coal drops have been nerfed substantially. Double and triple drops were a pretty regular thing until these last couple of patches. Now anything more than 1 is a miracle.

I can understand if WG is trying to slow down the game economy. We've seen it with the free xp ships. But, getting good coal drops actually kept me playing more, since it was worth it to put in the time for the 3rd daily crate. Now, not so much.

Nope - I get the same kind of drops I always do, no nerf to Coal percentage of FXP percentage.

If you want to get people behind your "100% conviction" post a screenshot of your 3 daily containers for the entire month of November on December 1st.  That way there will be little to no confusion about your drops.

It's like Lootboxes.  If you're chasing a very specific reward, you're in a world of hurt.  I get plenty enough x2 or x3 drops, but I don't expect it as an everyday thing, either.  Sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't.

If you dont think they play with the odds I have a bridge to sell you. Just like those Italian crates that supposedly have the same chance to drop all the ships.

No, I experience exactly the same thing. I go for resources every time, and out of the several crates I open per day, I almost never get 2-3 coal drops. It's so rare that I might try going for some other drop.

I don't even think about it.  It accumulates over time as you play.  Thinking further about that and trying to break it down to see trends is a waste of time, and will probably make your brain hurt, especially in any term shorter than say, three months or so.

I get double drops all the time and triples quite regularly. Just saying.

Even a month's worth of screenshots proves nothing. Bad RNG happens Sometimes I get 6 or more SC in a month sometimes none.  Would that mean the odds were changed in either direction?

Why would you even thing anything other than its rigged against you? Its like walking into a casino and being in denial that the house has the odds against you.

Agreed, it's in WG's best interest to rig it against everyone in fact. Why make it easy for people to get things for free? They want people to spend as much as possible.

I recall as a child being told that bad little boys and girls get coal in their stockings at Xmas.  I'm still getting the occasional box with 3 coal..(1200 coal and have seen no perceptible changes in the amount dropping.

All I can say is your obviously being far to good for your own good.  You could be rotten like the rest of us but noooooo.  You just had to be different didn't you!

darn little goody two shoes!

Yes, but volume of play is the important part.  Typically I play enough for 2 Daily Containers and it works out.  Of course on times when you play more and get all 3 several times a week, your odds get better.

Sometimes I get those periods where it's all 3 Daily Containers every day, and the stuff piles up after a while.  If you play super casual, then you're screwed in accumulating resources.
