@Femennenly @turbo07 I'm the one having the issues that Salvo made this post for. I ran a WGCheck and it came up with nothing. My crashing also links to @Hapa_Fodder 's crashing. The difference is that Hapa is playing fullscreened and I am playing Fullscreen windowed. his computer is locking up because the "WOWS.exe has encountered a critical error [RESTART] [TERMINATE]" prompt window along with his task manager are stuck behind the frozen/crashed client, and the only way to kill it is to click the terminate button.

So with that said, this isn't an isolated incident.

These are other posts with multiple users claiming the same or similar issues.

I'm pretty much guranteed to crash once if not multiple times during battle and it's making the game pretty much unplayable.

For the record, I can't even "terminate" the game or switch between windows.  The only fix is to restart my computer.... And yes, this is still happening. At least 1-2 times a week, which may seem not that much, but when this is LITERALLY the only game that does it...  Considering I play A LOT of games not just WoWs...

A new problem has happened too...  driving a ship, my view jumps above the ship as if I was dead and in "free camera" view, I can still shoot my guns, but can't steer, change speed or aim.  Only recourse again, is to just restart the computer. It's happened 3 times now and today it happened to a division mate.

And again, the crash log is showing NOTHING and the check app, is not finding any issues.

@Hapa_Fodder

Switch your game to full-screen windowed and you'll be able to alt tab to get to the error prompt.

Also CTRL+BACKSPACE+SHIFT will seperate your camera from your ship, press that combination again to bring it back.

EDIT: Hapa what is your motherboard manufacturer and model/chipset?

So the plot thickens @Femennenly

Below will be the copied windows blue screen log from @Desolate computer.

World of warships what the application that was running that the blue screen occurred in while running, so it basically says 'hey this application was running and was talking to the component that had issues'
Then the dxgmms2.sys file is a Windows system driver file that is associated with the Graphics Rendering capabilities of a computer. This file is known to cause a Blue Screen error.

but it is looking more like when world of warships talks to that file after a while it crashes.

His system drivers are up to date with the manufacturers website, we have also tried alternate drivers offered from AMD themselves rather than ASRock (his motherboard is an ASRock X570 Phantom Gaming 4)

Based on what I have been working through with him, at a guess I think it is how world of warships is speaking to the driver package provided for his specific motherboard.

@Femennenly can you forward this onto the St Petersburg office to look over as we'll need their take on how the game is speaking to the Dxgmms2.sys file.

Windows blue screen log is as follows.

EDIT: Hapa what is your motherboard manufacturer and model/chipset?

I did all that, there is no ability to to bring the camera back when this occurs. All controls are locked up, except the game is still running.

Secondly, when the lock up occurs the crash window is behind the game window NOTHING will minimize the screen. I tried all these solutions (used to be an IT guy for the military, so ya).

NEW Computer specs are as follows:

Corsair One

Processor: i9-9900K CPU

Ram: 32GB Corsair Vengeance DDR4

Motherboard: Intel Z370

Graphics: RTX 2080 TI

Hard drive: Normal 2TB HD with a 512 SSD

But this has happened on all three of my computers.  My last computer was a Desktop Replacement computer, almost as powerful as the above Corsair One, with the exception of the graphics card.

@Femennenly Hi,

@FemennenIy @Kami @LittleWhiteMouse

Just want to see if I can get a little headway with this, when I next fire up my stream I really don't want to say that I am yet to get a reply,

Thanks

Hi, just fyi, I'm not a Wargaming employee.  The most I can do is wave around one of my chopsticks I'm using to eat right now and pretend to cast a fix-everything spell.

@Femennenly

Really not sure what we can do about this so I really do need a hand with this,

currently I do not believe there is an open support ticket, I do not have one as the issue does not pertain to me, I am following this up on behalf of a friend due to myself having far more time in my day to do so.

His PC blue screened again while running world of warships,

It seems to be the only application that is doing it,

I opened a support ticket on something like this. In my case my C.P.U spikes to 99.99% and my fps drops to 5. I can't see anything in front of me when this happens and the enemy just kills me. Before loading WOW my cpu is around 7%.

Supports answer to this issue was to take my pc in for fan repairs!!!!!

I agree with all you guys.. The game worked great before the up grade.. Now crashing and unable to log on is a constant problem....
