I just had a domination match with my Fubuki. I got fired and escaped with only 6 HP. Then, I found the enemy's Ranger, so I launched 9 torps to her. 2 seconds before those torpedoes hit, OMG WE HAVE MORE THAN 1000PTS AND THE GAME FINISHED! I could have the extra exp and credit but I do not!

A suicide button definitely helps in some situation like this...it is not fair that only carrier have it.

This could be abused. People would join, rage about the MM or some garbage, and click suicide.

You press battle, and you play the damn game.

How would committing suicide have helped in your situation?

Heh, why would I do that? I join the battle to sink enemy ships regrading win or lose, not kill myself.

Either fight to the end, or accept the fact. Simple enough.

give my teammate and myself a little more time to kill the enemy, while costing several hundred to repair 6 more HP lost

Thanks for bringing up an issue i'd probably never considered.

If people are suicide carriers through torp runs to deny enemies I feel that the penalty for suicide should be outrageously high (as in 4 times repair cost or more) as there is literally no reason to kill oneself accidentally in the game.

Would be great if it locked out that ship class for an hour or two as well.

There was another game where players "bailed" to avoid kills and the devs ended up having to put in some serious penalties to prevent such behavior.

As an aside, what happened to good sportsmanship and fighting a good fight win or lose?

I've seen it been done accidentally. A CV is using everything it has to take down that incoming DD, and then notices it just launched 9 torps headed straight for it.

I did it once myself, actually.

I understand why they gave carriers the ability. Carriers are often the last to die in major 12 person battles because they are often at the back of the map.

you just got to play the cards you are dealt. why play a game and rage quit just because it isn't going your way? that's just childish. fight till the bitter or joyful end.

As a tip, once you set autodrop you can click on the little tab at the edge of the ring to turn the direction your TB are bombing in. I use it to make sure i don't hit friendlies and to line up enemies in the backdrop.

Id much rather be alive in a carrier and not have the repair cost, and i can still have AA fire if i am alive.
