a Tier 5 Nevada?!!

I love ships with odd turret arrangements.  Honestly, Nevada should have been the Tier 5 from the jump, with Texas being the premium alternative.

They have enough to do a line split, idk why they haven't yet.

I've been waiting for a tech tree South Dakota for years.

I think it's pretty clear at this point that they will not be doing a line split.

More money in selling premiums.

Your plans are not necessarily their plans.

Reminds me of the anecdote of the German Communist in Berlin in 1945 who had eagerly awaited the Red Army's "Liberation" of the city. He poured out his detailed plan for the German Socialist Workers' Paradise to the first senior Red Army officer he could get an audience with. After listening to all of it, the officer merely replied:

"Nyet."

. . . and yet. . . . they won't be doing a line split.  Because there's more money in selling premiums.

Then why release the French DD line or the Italian CA line?  Why aren't those nothing but a string of premiums?  I'm sick of there being so damned many premiums when there are enough ships to create second lines for things like USN BBs, RN and German BB (really their BC lines), or USN DDs.

Because US battleships already have a primary line and do not necessarily need another, and French DDs and Italian cruisers have no primary line and need one.

Also because there's not enough dividing the potential ships in that second line from the ones that already exist. The US cruiser split was into very clear categories - six-inch vs eight-inch gun armament. The high end of the Japanese destroyer split was likewise definite (at least when it was finally completed), with an emphasis on torpedoes vs. guns. (The Russian DD split seems to be along the lines of gun vs. hybrid, but I don't yet have an Ognevoi and I haven't driven the Kiev with the 8km torpedoes in Randoms enough times to form a definite opinion on how the extra range changes it.)

I'd rather see them bring out new lines (Fr DD, Italian Cruisers, even submarines) than do any more line splits, quite frankly. There's not enough built in steel to take the Royal Navy all the way up to T10 in heavy cruisers, even though I'm pretty sure the paper T10 would be an absolute monster that'd make even Alaskas fill their trousers in terror, and while I'm sure there are more than enough US destroyers to run a second line all the way from the Clemson, I suspect they're holding those back for when subs are in game and we need a second line of ships with an emphasis on ASW.

Destroyer Escort USS England, record of 6 submarine kills in 12 days :Smile_trollface:

RO-105 stayed directly between the two destroyer escorts for five minutes before submerging so neither Raby nor George could fire without endangering the other. Sequential Hedgehog attacks were then made by Raby, George, and Spangler. All missed. Division Commander Hains then radioed, "Oh, hell. Go ahead, England."  England then scored six to ten detonations in a Hedgehog attack at 0736. A major explosion followed at 0741 and a fountain of oil and debris appeared on the surface.

Can we get something new instead of more LOLorado and Monty clones? I haven't counted , but I think there's only 25 states left that don't have a premium BB yet...

I can think of other lines that could be expanded. USN, IJN, and Russian lines seem to be doing just fine for variety.  Perhaps some more Commonwealth ships? British? French? German? Pan-Euro? Pan Asian? Even South American?

I disagree.  Different USN BB classes were actually built from tiers 3 thru 8, and THAT is enough for me.  Period.  End of story.

They've mostly avoided turning the lead ships of a class into premiums.  We got Arizona, not Pennsylvania, we got California, not Tennessee, and we got Alabama and Massachusetts not South Dakota.  All of these premiums do not impact a second line at all.

The officer who said "nyet" had probably met Walter Ulbricht.
