i was curious- would it be preferable that i make the content on my own? i have a roommate that interrupts me whenever i tried to stream, because he wanted attention, and i also take medication on the time that i wanted to stream, sadly.....and i would be (possibly) available on Wednesday and Fridays...

 

otherwise, how many viewers do i need, as well on follower count, subscribers, etc on twitch? thank you for the info!

Heyo. 

However you make your content is up to you and what you believe would be best for your audience.

We have recently decided upon some hard minimum requirements for acceptance into the program of:

YouTube - Monthly average of 300 or more views per video/stream on YT and 1200 total monthly views for the last 90 days.

or,

Twitch - Have an average of 30+ viewers per WoWs stream on Twitch & minimum of 2 streams a month for the last 90 days.

If your content is of another media, it will be assessed separately. 

It should be noted, that meeting these hard minimums does not guarantee your acceptance into the program, your content will still be assessed by the CC regional manager.

Huh. I have no plans to become a CC, but doesn't per-video/stream counting sort of stack the deck against creators who do lots of short content as opposed to a medium number of bigger ones? Or is that the point (because that's what analytics, etc. say works best for the audience overall)?

There are bonus's and negatives for different style of content. Short videos can be more appealing for the masses as they are quick to watch; for example, I'm more likely to watch a 2 minute video over a 30 minute video from a creator I don't know - thus have the ability to wrack up views quickly. 

Ultimately, the quality and promotion of the content produced by an applicant is what will contribute to the views regardless of the length of the media.

Streams, I grant you, would be harder to pull 30 average views on say a 1 hour stream, but streams typically are a longer format media, and creators should be aware of that going into them.

We're set the minimums at what we believe is a fair level, that ensure they are achievable however also disqualify those who have not the start of an audience supporting them.

I’m sure they might, but one has to wait till they post the announcements on the CC program again

For Asia servers, applications can be made at any time, provided the conditions are met. I hope the NA server will accept this.

It's not the same.
In case of Korea, the applicant can apply at any time.
But the NA has a fixed application period.

Currently in NA we have rounds of applications to ensure people have time to grow between applications. Please also remember, while you may meet the minimum requirements, you still will be assessed by the Regional Manager as per the contents and quality of your content as numbers are not everything.

I would've privately addressed you on this matter, and given you tips and things we'd like to see for your next application.

Yep, creators of other mediums: written review, FB streaming, podcasts, etc still are very welcome and encouraged to apply. Their media will be assessed separately and metrics established for them.

I saw the message you sent.

I think the channel size is enough. My YouTube subscribers can take their place with Twitch.

 

I'm not doing SNS like Facebook, but I'm working in the WOWS community in Korea. 

I know that some CC in NA don't do YouTube at all, and some are working on community sites.

 

and on YouTube, i post information about ships, highlights, and so on.

My YouTube channel is still poor, but I can post more if I become a CC. Also, I will be able to post more information on my community sites.

So I can’t find a forum to post this on, so please redirect me to one that might be more specific to my topic, but I had a friend who passed  away a couple days ago and was wondering is there any way to put something into the game even if it’s for me only that continues his legacy e.g. a flag, or a camouflage. It wouldn’t serve any personal gain like extra xp per game, but it’s there for remembrance.  If anyone can help me it would be very appreciated thank you
