The problem was that the anti-tank armament being fired at that Tiger in 1943 was only capable of taking out medium and light tanks. For instance, the Soviet 76 mm AP tank rounds were only capable of penetrating 60-90 mm of armor, whereas the Tiger had up to 120 mm of armor in key areas. The Tiger tanks had an 11:1 kill ratio against Allied tanks. Unfortunately for the Germans, however, they only produced 1,347 Tiger I tanks and 492 Tiger II tanks, whereas America built 69,000 Shermans and medium tank destroyers and the USSR built 76,000 medium tanks and tank destroyers and 13,000 heavy tanks and tank destroyers.

The Tigers were dangerous but it also was something like this for them:
