No real offense, using HE all the time. T5 BB was a CIT machine, on the other hand.

I found Izmail to be pretty meh.... I FXP'd past it to Sinop and it was SO worth it.
Sinop is where the fun starts in that line IMO.

I grinded RU BBs from t5 and now im at t9, Izmail is the worst one for me in that line but she'll find citadels for you

Order from worst to best for me

Izmail, Pytor, Vlad, Soyuz, Sinop

What I find is weird is my Tier V battleships seem to be suffering more magazine hits than ever before. Is anyone else encountering this?

What I noticed is that with IZMAIL, I have to aim for the line just above the hull-deck joint on a BB, and have gotten a couple of CITs. Typically a little higher than I usually do. Not sure what that is all about. But, it improved my damage #s.

I'm averaging 40K damage per game, after 94 games (44% win rate).

I shoot AP unless the target is a tier VIII BB.  I get plenty of citadels, esp against cruisers. It is a terrifying ship. However, if you show broadside it is over.
