That was very satisfying to watch.  Back in my model building days, all small parts would have been painted first before attaching to the model.  He practically fully assembled the boat before applying any paint.  So cool.

Yeah! That was a really slick idea. I'll have to try that out someday.

I thought that was odd too. I usually do the major sub-assemblies and paint the small parts separately. But I can't argue with the end product!

Truly folks, I wish this sort of thing was available when I was a kid "back in the day". I think the use of super glues is fantastic, just it alone would have been amazing... You truly can learn so much from these videos you just wish you'd known or discovered on your own. 

I'm glad you guys enjoyed it. 

His static display was pretty good too!

When I do models, I usually take photos of the model in 'phases' until completion.
