This only affects DDs. I see torps I panic. Sometimes they're deepwater.

What do people think about changing the colour of deepwater torpedoes to something else, perhaps green or blue, when playing as a DD, to give a visual indication that no, you're not about to be blown out of the water.

For friendly torps at least, if not the enemy's as well.

They already have an alternate symbol. Torps are usually triangles (White for friendly, pink for friendly TK-er, Green for your own, orange for division mates, red for enemy) Deep water torps usually have that horizontal bar above it, or is usually a small circle if they are unable to hit you (ie.. Asashio's Torps will show up as circles for DD and CL/CA, but the usuall triangle w/ bar for BB and CV).

Right. I'll pay more attention next time. I just see torps and panic.

Once you have been playing long enough you will basically remember what ships have what types of torps and that helps too.

Friendly. I'm unsure about the enemy torps. But it's already indicated anyhow.

And probably for the same reason that you can spot the exact plane type from half a map away.

Nothing quite like that moment of panic when you turn the camera fast and see red dots heading toward you, only to see them safely go beneath you.

Around black friday, when they were giving Black ships to everyone but me (whine, moan lol), I saw a few Asashios that couldn't figure out why their torps were broken.

I think you need to get closer to the torps to see if you should be concerned or not ... :Smile_sceptic: :Smile_veryhappy:
