Iwaki Alpha

I was told recently in the QnA channel ingame, that if I have the black & white alpha flag, I should also have access to not just the Arkansas beta but also the Iwaki alpha? Is there any truth to this?

If you qualified for the Iwaki Alpha, you would've gotten an Iwaki Alpha. It was handed out based on participation before a certain date, not based on what flag you have.

Pretty much. I know I fly my Alpha flag high and proud on ships that I'm grinding, but the Death Pickle has naught once graced my port with its presence.

If I remember correctly, you had to play a certain number of games during alpha to earn the ship.
That may only be Arky Beta, however.

Both required a certain amount of battles before a certain date, though different for each of course.

While you may have been involved in the Alpha and/or Beta test sessions, the reward ships were reserved for playing a certain number of games within a period:

Iwaki Alpha: 100 Games or more during Alpha

Arkansas Beta: 49 Games or more during Beta

Interestingly, the console Founders Packs offered the Arkansas B and Iwaki A up until May 17 on the xbox.  It is appears to still available for the PS4 in the Playstore.  They are being pulled today May 20th), though.

It should because people who played only during the beta weekends during that time for the alpha flag Along with the beta flag

Playing during the beta weekends didn't mean that one technically became an alpha tester.

You should let it go. I think Fem would have checked your stats before giving you a reply.

For Beta, I recall it being more than 49 games.     Could've sworn it was 65....

 

OP: If you didn't get Iwaki, you very likely did not put in enough games for her, or if you did they were match specific, IE: Random only.  When they announced that Beta was going to require x amount of games to obtain, I asked if Co-Op games would count.  It seemed like that was "on the fence", so to be absolutely sure I put in the required amount of matches in Random.  Turns out that Co-Op games did count.    I wonder if you can check statistics for the beta weekends.   I know I can go and look at my statistics for CBT, but for weekend Beta's, I do not know.
