I don't understand why they are editing an existing post to add this stuff in....this was not there yesterday.  People already dislike this "opt-in" stuff, adding it to news posts that people have already read doesn't seem like it will help that.

I think they just need to change it to an Opt Out button. Unless you really don't want the free stuff, you're automatically included.

Thank you, DocWalker, I never would have seen that as I had already reviewed the May missions yesterday.

I already have enough patches I don't use.

If it was a flag, I would opt in.

Patches? We don't need no steenking patches!

Another patch (like flags) that do nothing. What for?

On top of that to celebrate the Battle of Puebla (5 May 1862). If I am not mistaken it has nothing at all to do with navies of any kind, esp. Mexico, so what's the point here?

Totally missed this, it should be an opt out like previously mentioned.

Unless it comes with a top-shelf Margarita and a basket of chips, this does nothing for me.

Opt outs are generally a bad approach - WAY more people complain about being forced into something then about having to click on something

Thank you Op +1 .  I read the website occasionally, the forums more often, so I for one appreciate the notices from forum members about opt ins and codes

Not everyone is aware of there being missions that require some action to opt into (or out of) on the main website.  I'm fine with it as is.

Opt In wouldn't be so bad if WG actually made people aware of new things/missions, instead of stealth editing existing articles and needing eagle eyed frequent visitors to notice said edits.
