I don't know if anyone mentioned this before, but it occurs to me that Wargaming could commemorate the April 18 anniversary of the Doolittle Raid with USS Hornet. They can essentially reskin Enterprise and let her launch B-25s which would use level-bombing mechanics similar to what the British use. The only downside is that game play would be similar to Indominable but I'm sure they can come up with something to make her different enough. Honestly I'd probably buy a non-functional version of Hornet with the Mitchells on the deck just to be a port queen (at a very reduced price of course.)

I'd love to have USS Hornet in my fleet.  She is on my "Short List" of wanted ships that I made when I started playing.

I also just had to look up the DD escorting her in the Picture. Its DD-433 Gwin a Gleaves Class.

Just for your information the last survivor of the Doolittle raid died the other night he was the co-pilot of Doolittle's bomber  he was 103 years old...……….

I saw. I think he was Doolittle's co-pilot.
