LT. Col. Richard Cole was the Co-Pilot of plane #1 on the Doolittle Raid. He has joined the rest

Not too much longer and all the WWII vets will be gone... amazing as that sounds.  If a guy snuck in early at say 16, then for US that guy is 94....older for other combatants....

Many of the great legendary Air Force heroes have passed.  Each and all deserve our respect.  SALUTE to my fellow Airmen.

In today's environment, we are short of real American heroes.
