Questions for anyone interested in answering:

1) Is anyone interested in having analysis done for the last version of operations that are currently not in rotation? (Like Cherry Blossom, Dynamo, Ultimate Frontier, etc.)
2) Is there any interest in a new thread on the forum showing unusual circumstances, particularly challenging runs, secret achievements? Examples of this would be like purposely spawning the extra battleships in Aegis, saving Parks in Dynamo, Permanent Night in Cherry Blossom, Insert Coin secret achievement in Raptor Rescue and so on.
3) I have created a number of strategy and tactics videos in the past, most of which have no voiceover. Is there any interest in a thread for this?
4) Any interest in a Halloween scenario replays thread?
5) I have some funny moment short videos as well. Any interest in a compilation of these in a thread?

Let me know any what interest there is any of these.

There was some testing done the last couple days for a strat for spawning the extra battleships in Aegis. I can likely have replays for this soon and I could probably make a thread for special/unusual games like this if desired.

Yo @Lightbringer  I was wondering if something I noticed is something you've Exp'ed or not?   Lately it seems the allied bots were maneuvering to interfere with my torps and shooting  IE  getting in front and obstructing my fighting the enemy botts and if they are is this only a recent thing or?  Where it happened most recently was Scenario Op Narai  and it seemed like they did it over and over

I haven't played much in the last two days as I am recording a few things before updating for the patch. When you say allied bots, do you mean the transports? There aren't that many allied bots in Narai and what type of ship are you using?

He's talking about Co-op fill-in bots.

No, I haven't seen that.  They are generally worthless, but they haven't been actively interfering.

If the transports are able to run in front of you, then you're doing things wrong and not moving up towards the fight. In fact you'd be putting the transports in more danger by hanging with them.

And what about the healing?   In fact  I've put my ship between the transports n the  Missouri  more than a few times when she tried to ramm

Either you got bad luck and took a torp or citadel or you are in a DD in which case doesn't take long to get healed to full HP and motor out of there. Healing circle is a curse often times and should not be taken for granted or used if you still have plenty of health left. For a BB forget the healing circle as you'll never recover enough health to make it worth the time unless you lost like half your health within the first 5 min of the game.

Also putting yourself between the Missouri and transports is not ideal as that can be set up for failure.

Best way is to fight ahead and kill the Missouri before it even gets close to the transports.

However everyone else in the team needs to do the same otherwise there would be no point in pushing ahead alone.

These two statements tell me that your state of thinking is not where it should be. This reads as you are more concerned about keeping yourself alive, rather than keeping the transports alive.

Your goal when in any operation should be to get a 5 star win. As such, while your survival to influence the battle is obviously important, you are also minimizing your influence from the battle by sitting in the middle of the transports and being concerned with keeping yourself healed. I don't know if you have watched any of the replay videos I put up in the Narai thread or not. I would recommend that either you watch them if you haven't or if you have, watch them again and see how much of the time the ship being played is sitting in the middle of the transports being healed.

I will give a separate example from those here. Here is a tactics video I made for the Minsk.

While I show you what I do to achieve the result I want in the video, let's analyze it a different way.

Like Vader_Sama is saying, you should be out in front of the transports. Why is this? Well, if you are in the middle of the transports, any attention given to you by the bots also has chance of damaging or destroying the transports as well. In other words, all their targets are exactly the same place and it makes it easy for them to destroy everything in one location. While being out in front means no healing and more risk, you have much greater ability to influence the battle by being proactive rather than reactive, and you can minimize your risk and damage taken by using the environment.

While you watch this video, you can see where I am positioning myself. I am moving along using the island cover to minimize damage to myself while moving past the first wave of ships. I am putting myself close to them at risk of taking damage but minimizing damage taken with the use of cover from the islands.

Now then there is the open water aspect of rushing the Iron Duke, which can shoot at me as well as the Nicholas in the second wave. To minimize damage taken here, I speed boost and reduce the time where I am subject to being shot at to a minimum and then turn north after sending torpedoes into island cover once more.

So, rather than being primarily concerned with staying alive, as that is how it reads, be primarily concerned with trying to accomplish the tasks you need, while minimizing the ability of the enemy to damage you, thus therefore you don't need to be concerned with staying alive and you can do what you need to do to achieve your goal of getting a 5 star win.

Actually It's both  as a cruiser or DD that I was concerned  healing, And the people I'd been playing with strategy was to stay between transports and Missouri  take her down n keep her from ramming transports whilst in  Scharnhorst,Nelson   by ramming her if nothing else  the  BB's   are just there to deal primarily with Missouri

Well unless you let me know who you are playing with, I can't really educate all of you effectively. If you want to join the group on the Hoperations discord, I can give you an invite link.

Staying between the transports and the Missouri is a good starting point but you can be much more proactive than that. Like I said in the last post, watch the videos I have in the Narai thread and you can get a better sense of what the group on the discord does.

We are also able to do a 5 star win in Narai with only 4 ships so you can take from that what you want. I have videos for one such run on my YouTube channel as well.

With the Hoperations group, when I'm in a BB I don't even think about Missouri except as a pile of HP to be farmed (something the terrain makes difficult to do).  'Little Trouble' might get reduced by gunfire, but she dies by torps.  Every once in a while we have to get serious, but I'm trying to remember losing a transport to ram and I can't.  Usually the torps are a DD, but sometimes Sharnhorst.

As for hiding amongst the transports in a cruiser, some of my teammates will tell you: that doesn't even work.  I can be sitting right between two transports.  If she gets a look, 'Little Trouble' will stop what she's doing, ignore the transports (her supposed objective), and try to kill me.  It's personal, I know.  I must have done her wrong in the past.  That might have been worth it if I could just remember her naked.

An update for anyone who likes my videos. The current Victory event is minimizing my time playing Operations/Scenarios as Coop is the most efficient way to earn victory points. I have a few replays to record videos with but am looking at other things to make videos with since there is a lack of replays. One series will be rating top destroyers for each individual operation but there will be a need to compile some statistics first which will take a little time.
