Averaging every potato to compare to dedicated CV players?

Apples and oranges.

And a bonus round:

Top spot on winrate taken by a cruiser. Next two taken by DDs. Then another cruiser... then finally we have Midway, but Hakuryu isn't even on the same page.

Just stating the facts, CV were and still are the most powerful class of ships in the game.

Objectively false. Cruisers and DDs have the top performing ships. Or BBs if you want to look at damage and ignore their relatively low winrates.

Ignoring the facts do not change them.  As a class, CV are the strongest.  If you want to take selected ships and selected tiers yes there are other single strong ships but on a whole, CV is the strongest class on average.

Sorry, but nope.  You are parsing data to make it support your conclusion - even then it actually doesn't.

No. What you're really doing is using the stats of bad ships to drag down averages and hide that cruisers and DDs tend to be the top performers on winrate and BBs and cruisers on damage.

The only top performing CV is Graf Zeppelin but she just got nerfed so we'll see how she does next week.

Was that the "but what do the stats say? do the stats support that? let me see the stats. do you have any stats to show me? do the stats say any differently?"  thread?

Good point, will have to look at stats next week.  WG is doing a good job trying to balance CV's so maybe it will change some then.  Maybe we can see DD's get a needed boost.

I don't see the legitimacy in the data you are showing. Please don't take that as I am accusing you of anything. Based on what I have seen/experienced in Random Battles in the past few months, CVs aren't leading at anything. I may be completely wrong, but I am not seeing what your data suggests.

DDs are already game defining ships and don't need buffs as a class.

Some individual DDs are bad and need individual buffs.

Or maybe we should buff Stalingrad and Harugumo because the poor game-dominating cuisers and DDs just can't get by?

How can any particular class have a good or bad win rate as a whole?

Every 1-carrier-per-side game awards a win to one carrier and a loss to one carrier.  for 2-per-side, it's two and two, obviously. 50% win rate.

Every 5-battleships-per-side game awards 5 battleship wins and 5 battleship losses.  50% win rate.

The only time you'd get away with that are the weird queue dump games, where you might have unbalanced ships, but those are rare.

1500 high tier CV players is a hilarious stat.   High tier CV play is awful.

Exceptional vision on that one.  That 0.16% must be from games with one extra CV per side?  Have no idea, sorry.

Using your logic let’s get all the less skilled players to stop playing carriers because they were nerfed into oblivion, have them play all other ship types, then when the average stats of carriers go up and average of every other ship goes down we can pretend that means carriers have to be nerfed even more!

if carriers were superior most people would be trying to play them yet they’re back to being played almost as infrequently as before the rework.

Take a basic stats class to learn about knowing all the variables instead of falling for the deception of someone’s claim which ignores many critical variables.

Then why aren’t people playing them?  So much for your ignorant deception that you were schooled on before, but go on to lie and make the same false claims.

I would argue the exact opposite.  DD's are so hard to play only expert players use them.  CV's are brand new and have an extremely large base of first time users playing them and are easier to play so more lower skilled players play them.

I am just saying the facts are the facts and this may be why WG is balancing the CV's so much.  They just want to put their stats more in line with other ships.

Try again.  The facts are the less skilled players have given up playing them. Tier 8 to 10 only see carriers 1 out of 4 matches that I don’t play one as opposed to seeing carriers every match when it first started before the first nerf

They had a large new base.  Now that they’ve gimped carriers into the ground less skilled players have factually all but given up.  They’re now playing other ship types so if course average carrier numbers will go up while other ship types stats go down: do to switch of weaker players

When they force every player to play 1 game on each ship type, then you’ll find out how much CVs are gimped.

So stop with the deception.  You’ve been told this before.

And if carriers are so powerful then go play one.  Oops. So much for that false claim.
