How in the world can you play this game with grammar and spelling as bad as yours?

Which ships are you using? At 757 battles, the ships I had were low-tier scows that were almost impossible to lose money on unless I played disastrously  badly. And you literally cannot lose money on Tier 1. Cannot. They have no service costs.

Unless you're playing at tier 10, you should be making a profit in battles, even then it's easy to make little profit in tier 10.

1) Win or loss does not affect credits, personal performance does. Winning gives a flat 50% bonus to XP, not to credits.

2) The higher the tier, the higher the service cost, IE the deduction of credits post battle.

3) A few ways to off-set credit loss:

  • Premium time gives a flat 50% bonus to credits and XP
  • Premium ships have a credit bonus baked in to them
  • There are camouflages and signal flags with credit bonuses
  • Play better; the better you do the more credits you get

The increasing credit cost is to 'encourage' the player to buy premium time and premium ships. This game is free to play, not free to develop.

I played a TX game in coop, using no cammo, -10% service cost signal only, and premium account I admit.

I did terribly: 24K damage only, no kills, no caps and negligible spotting.

I lost 1336 silver NET total for an abyssmal game in Coop.

I did it again and earnt 58K net for a much better TX game in Coop.

Theres lots of ways to make credits in this game, either youre not using economic bonuses or you really need to look at your match performance, because credits is directly linked to damage and personal performance, and not being carried for a win.

How in the world can you drop the ball on such a simple, standard expression as “how in the world?”

What tier are you having difficulty with? Are you using signals & camos? How much damage are you doing in a battle? The cost per battle jumps at T8 making it necessary to use signals & camos. T9 & T10 are much higher. Plus you face players with high point commanders that gives them an edge.

For all the language cops here did you stop to consider that English may not be the poster's first language?

I thought about it. Then I realized the post is on par with the average American  social media post. Well, possibly slightly better than most facebookers.

Tiers 8, 9 and 10, have high enough service cost and ammunition resupply cost, that it is possible to lose money, from an average game (didn't do good, but also didn't do bad). Tiers 5 6 and 7 are where the credits are earned, for continued high tier player. tiers 1 2 3 and 4, is where even if you play poorly, you can still make money.

I can't say I paid much attention to tier 8 and 9 credit making but I've always said tier 6-7 are the credit sweet spot if you don't have the credit printing higher tiered premium ships.

I've never had a problem with any other teir than teir 10 tbh. with service costs.

To make more credits though you could try playing ops, a lot more, they give the best credits, than any other mode, regardless whether you win or lose the operation.

As you go up the tiers, service and ammo costs go up. (because it's a bigger ship)

The fact that it's a bigger ship, in matches with enemies that have more HP to farm, means it's also capable of doing more damage.

That's the problem you're having, you're not fulfilling that potential for more damage. You're actually doing less than your New Mexico.

If you want to at least break even in NC, you need to double your average damage, have a premium account, and stop using premium consumables if you're using them.

I am out of thumbs up for the day so here is my THUMBS UP.

There are people in here who think that everyone's native language is English.

I would not be surprised if a substantial portion of Grammar Nazis speak only one language to begin with.

Now if you want to criticize my English please do it in German !

Thank you kindly :-)

ESL fits a particular pattern, and non-English-speakers tend at least to get the spelling right, even if their phrasing is sometimes a bit odd (mostly because of how their languages normally order nouns, adjectives, etc., or simply don't use parts of speech that English does).

(After 757 battles the OP is at Tier VIII? Too soon, IMHO. I'm assuming he raced up the US battleship tech tree to the exclusion of all else, but I think he will find in the long run that such over-specialisation is not a good idea.)

Damage = Credits...    Winning matters not.    So you will make more credits on a high damage loss than a low damage win.      Simple as that.

This is some next level calculated, and carefully worded sentences. A riposte, with oomph.

Haha, and give up the opportunity to feel better about themselves.  +1 to you for the comic relief.

Actually, you bleeding hearts fail to comprehend what I and the ither grammar cop have done:

1) We have given you saps the opportunity to feel good about YOUR selves, satisfying your need to rush in and be a white knight about something

2) We’ve generated sympathy for the OP. In the absence your symapthies due to our criticisms of the OP’s failure in the realm of written communication, he would have been pilloried iver a debut whinepost and/or ragepost. And said pillorying may well have come from some of YOU, his tender-hearted defenders.

So, spare me.

I feel fine about myself, whether I repond to the likes of the OP, or his defenders, or not.

Save me the feigned altruism.  Did you have difficulty understanding what the OP was saying?  Probably not, so slamming the grammar and spelling is completely unnecessary.  Btw, the words are "other", "over", "sympathies", and "respond."

PS.  I almost forgot.  "whinepost" and "ragepost" are not real compound words.  Tenderhearted however, is a compound word and does not require a hyphen.
