What audio setting controls explosions? I have turned things down where I don't hear the engines even though I like to, I have sound turned down where secondaries hitting the ship are loud but if I go lower I really don't hear much of anything. But still a damn ship explosion blows my ears off.

There IS no way to toggle that part now I think...they changed the audio last update.

I have engine sounds up 100%, gunfire is about 50%, whatever interface is is about 10%, ambient sound is 50%, sound effects are about 25%. 

I want to get the most out of sound without finding it intruding/offensive. I find myself going to settings a couple times during slow spots in battle trying to find out how something works. Since I have been largely unsuccessful in fixing things (other than off) the  last 3 weeks I find my temper is getting shorter as the frustration builds. 

So if WGing is moderating  I have questions.

What does interface control?

What is ambient sound? birds? 

SFX? To me its all sound effects so this must have some specific meaning to WGing.

Is gunfire just your own guns or other ships too?

Same question regarding secondaries?

What control do hits come under?

What control do explosions fall under?
