Monday, Feb 18th at the latest I hope. Also, it still says that the Clan must register, but there was no register button in the article? And without the Naval Battle section, we can not see if it will be there either. I logged in to make sure that the registration button was not there in the article. Hopefully everything will be in force on Monday, so we can participate.

Clan Registration: In Update 0.8.0, a new section titled Naval Battle will appear in the Clan tab within the game client, where you can find a calendar with the event’s schedule. A Commander, or their Deputy Commanders will be able to register the Clan for participation in the competition for each coming week. Are you a clan commander or deputy commander? Not every clan is into creating the environment of ultra competative clans that require people to go through "feeder" clans in order to have fun. You guys are making the divide wider. 2
86 [44MAG] Sisyphus_ii Members 124 posts Report post #7 Posted February 13, 2019 Clans Competition player CAP Problem limits revenue: Some WoWS players can choose to play more Monday to Thursday, a VERY many players cannot play because of RL issues and it cannot be changed. So, the limited time player cannot increase time, but the dedicated player (already plays a lot) can help get more clans playing if allowed too. “The maximum Contribution of each player is limited “ works against the rule “the more playing plus more time equals more revenue” The goal would seem to get as many clans as possible playing the Engagement. So let the dedicated play more for their Clans. Note: generally there should be a higher concentration of spendable funds in the dedicated group.

Yes, I'm the Commander for PVE Clan. As you can see, as of this morning the Naval Battle section is not there yet. 28 minutes ago, Tyranthrax said: Is there anything you guys can do for clans that have included people from all over and cover a wide array of timezones? You don't have to all be on at the same time or during a special time for the Naval Battle competition. Your clan can collect the XP in the Preparation time at any time from Mon-Thu once you are registered. If you meet the Preparation XP, then your clan competes at any time, by getting stars, from Fri- Sun. This is easy for a clan to compete in.

Monday-Thursday: Clans complete a mission to qualify for the week’s Engagement. Friday-Sunday: Eligible clans compete against each other. I've gathered many players who are all over times they can play, I can get the most 5 on at the same time, hence why we kinda said screw it lets get the benefits but can't do clan battles

I like competitive stuff, and this is a more casual event that clans can take part in and get the oil benefits without playing on certain days or certain times, as clans must for clan battles. However, for a clan like mine that has every clan base upgrade except the final coal one and the final two steel ones, oil doesn't mean much to us. I wish it also gave something else to teams and players that did well. Edited February 13, 2019 by saintsfan1622000

You don't even need 2 people on at the same time. Monday - Thursday is the mission to collect XP. The example was 100,000 XP total by all the people in the clan. Everyone has a cap that they can earn. Say it is 10k XP. Then only 10 people need to collect 10k XP. Or 20 collect an average of 5k XP or some other combination. It sounds like the number(s) *may* be different for each clan based on how many are in the clan. We should know for sure on Monday. Friday - Saturday is the competition, as long as your clan met the Preparation XP number during Mon-Thu. You are paired up with another clan for the competition. Say both our clans complete the XP mission and are paired up, USMC2 vs PvE. First, your clan members will see a screen like this. They can pick any ship and nation to try and match the 300 base XP targets shown. Say you take a Kuma CL and make 343 base XP in a match. Then you will have reached the 300 base XP target for IJN Cruisers so you get a Star for your clan. And the IJN cruiser target will increment to something like 400 base XP, and on and on. You can try again with any IJN Cruiser for 400 base XP, or switch to a different ship/nation. Each clan member has 10 attempts to earn a star, so they should choose wisely. Our co-op players will go for the smaller base XP amounts and our heavy hitters will go for the bigger amounts. Your clan earns stars and our clan earns stars and at the end Sun night, which every clan has the most stars gets the 800 oil and the other clan gets 300 oil. USMC2 will be able to see the stars PVE earns and we will see the stars you earn during the competition so we know where we stand. A player does not collect stars until they enable the Count Attempts button, so people can warm up and stop and start if needed up to the max 10 attempts. Then the next week a new preparation mission is started and if met, will mean a new competition with a new clan. 10 minutes ago, tincan7 said: how big does the Clan have to be? r/ 1 Clan member. Of course that one member could earn at most 10 stars, so the more people in the clan attempting stars the better. If it is like the Supply Lines event from last year, clan size and strength will be taken into account for match ups as best as they can.

You would think with all the schooling i have had in my life I would have been able to comprehend this. Your explanation is FAR better than the write up on the page. I thought it was a clan battles type of thing, the "compatition" word threw me off! So if I'm understanding this correctly its goign to be similar ot the hall of fame you get points for achieving "X" stuff? 3

I thought it was a clan battles type of thing, the "compatition" word threw me off! So if I'm understanding this correctly its goign to be similar ot the hall of fame you get points for achieving "X" stuff? Similar. In the Hall of Fame, you get points for sinking ships, getting achievements and the like in winning battles. In this, you just have to hit the base XP target. Winning, damage done, survival, etc, do not matter. You do get more base XP in Random and Ranked over co-op for the same level of play, so co-op is only really viable for the lower score targets. Anyone can start making attempts in your clan when they want, any time the competition phase is active from Fri-Sun. They can play any of the three battle modes and use any tier ship. They just are trying to make the base XP target in the ship/nation they are running. IJN DDs, US Cruisers, German BBs, UK DDs, etc. Of course nations like Pan-Asia will only have DDs as there is not a tech tree for PA cruisers, even though there are three PA cruisers; T1, T6 premium and T8 premium. That way, you don't have to have a premium to compete as anyone with the tech trees can play. Of course, the higher the tier you play, the easier it is to hit the base XP marks.

Yes, it's small step, but you'll then know that game will count as one of your attempts.
