I cant find anything on the topic so ill just post here.

I know its not a Missouri or anything, but does nelson have a higher credit earning multiplier than other premiums in its tier range?

I don't think so. I get good credits from it, but I attribute that to the fact that I do well in the ship, and thus get better results and better rewards. Its' accuracy and tankiness give it a high carry potential, which lets you influence the game a lot.

I have frequently run Warspite, Duke of York, Hood, and Nelson back to back and found nothing all that different in their credit earnings despite the tier difference for Warspite. More of a matter of battle performance such as how many enemies you spot, sink, damage totals, planes shot down, bases capped ect.

Nelson may seem higher to you because of the fact in a good battle you can do a ton of fire damage to enemy ships. So if you had half a dozen BBs burning for few minutes with 1-3 fires per ship, the totals would be high. But then you take a look at Warspite, Hood, or Duke of York AP damage totals when well used and you can once again rack up a good deal of damage from citadel hits on enemy ships.

Its tanky provided it's played correctly.  The Nelson is one of my favorite ships to play, but also one of my favorite ships to play against.  Nothing I love more than having a Nelson in my sights that doesn't seem to care about his positioning, one good volley from a BB and its good night sweet prince.  Bow on though, that thing can eat HE damage from cruisers like a boss.  Oh you think I'm almost dead? ACTIVATE PROJECT LAZARUS.
