Hey guys, I'll start with a couple things I've been thinking about lately that I think could be cool additions to the game. Hopefully this isn't a duplicate thread.

I think something that could really improve the immersion in the game would be some new damage mechanics. Not like the flooding and fire graphics, (which are awesome) but more along the lines of more updated visuals of how your ship looks after taking damage. Maybe some holes ripped in the hull, a slight list to one side or the other if you take flooding damage, or even a small explosion or two when you've been burning for a while? I'm sure some people more creative than me could come up with some cool ideas for that as well!

The other thing I've been thinking might be cool would be some waves or swells in the game. Some waves that crash over the bow or seeing your ship plow through them and dip back down, would let you get a feel for the size and power of these ships, since so much effort has gone into the models. Some of my clan mates have brought up whether or not it would have any effect on aiming, and honestly I don't think it would matter much if it had an impact on aim or not, granted, I feel like it would be less of a change if it did not. For example, the actual ship model might be moving, but the reticle could still stay steady. I realize this one is a little more ambitious than my last idea, but that's what this thread is for right??

Anyway, I'd love to hear some things you guys might like to see in the game, whether it be ships, or interface changes; Let's see whats on your mind!

1. No CVs

2. Better MM

3. Radar that gets blocked by islands

4. Islands of Ice map returned to the second iteration (the one with all those little islands South) - it was much better.

5. A simple AND filter in the Carousel instead of the current OR.

6. A limit on how many consecutive F-key presses in Chat, limited to say 3 per minute.

I would like to be able to search for someone in the Port Contact list without their name disappearing or they system..................freezing up. 

I would like to see the Contact/Friends list sort Online Players to the top of the list. 

I would like to see more game modes besides Standard, Domination and the odd Epicenter battle. 

I would like to see the Moving Storm system added to Ocean. 

I would like to see the Roma get its gun accuracy Buffed. 

I would like to see Islands of Ice having moving Icebergs, just for the lolzs. [Yes that Island just moved.] 

I would like to dismount all the signal flags on a ship with one click. 

I would like to disable Quick Messages so that troll over there will shut up. 

I would like to see the return of the Salem Witch. 

I would like to see all Battleships get their Secondaries buff for a bit more range and reload, excluding the Germans and Massachusetts. 

I would like to see Tier 10 Premium camos go on sale. 

I would like to see friendly cruiser who have torpedoes stop firing them while behind me. 

But than I also would like BigFoots autograph but I don't see that happening either.

I see you have given this some thought :) It is probably a long shot for a lot of the stuff on here, but the least we can do is post in the forums and make ourselves heard! 

By the way, moving icebergs would be awesome... IMO interactive maps in general would be really cool!

Some fauna popping up in the game.  Seagulls (like in the Hallowe'en base), some whales breaching, dolphins, a kraken surfacing, maybe a sasquatch peeking out from behind a tree...

WOW....let me think about this.....Close to Realism but with the FUN sprinkled in...so....

Captains view only as high as the highest observation platform on that ship

Fire from turrets in any direction at any time. Namely Aim each turret in any direction independently

Random Natural Fog with some wave action.

Different stages of concealment.  but the same sighting for EVERY ship.   FAR = you are a haze, nearer - you are a outline and nearer -  you are made but rendered blurry

Manual Aim AA key assigned just like your guns and Torps (if equipped) 360 degree shooting all by yourself or set it on automatic as is now

Torpedo acquisition all depends on how TALL your ship is.  BB's would be able to see torps further out without any cap skills.

Remove Detonation

Add in engine malfunction, rudder stuck and gun missfire/torpedo as random events repairable in short seconds 

Add heal to all ships depending on how much damage it has sustained.  Auto heal ships but only when the ship is not firing its guns/torps and driving slow. 

Well I am sure theres more..but my initial ponderings!

Additional items: NO TAGS on enemy ships to how much HP they have nor type of ship. it is.  Consult JANES if you don't know.

While it would look pleasing, wave mechanics opens too many cans of worms for a player to deal with. Having your ship roll from a wave and throwing off your aim is completely realistic but unfun. We already have gun dispersion to simulate randomness in battle. We don't need additional factors.

What I would like to see is a retouch on older ship models and camo schemes. Many of those older ships still show large patches of rust through camo paint. When I buy permanent camo, I don't want to see my ship rusting through a beautiful paint job.

3. The WOWs status bar icon glow when someone messages you or wants to div.

4. That hopeless turd of an island in C on Shatter removed.

5. At least 15 new maps. The Ops maps could easily be adapted to Randoms.

6. Team damaged removed from Randoms and an end to the useless TK system. 

7. All T9-10 premiums sold in shop. Those tiers are starved for ship variety.

8. The high tier maps reduced and lowered islands. They are heavily choked, especially given the high number of radar ships.

9. An end to production of high RoF ships and other gimmick ships fun only for the user.

10. DWTs deep sixed. IJN torp nerf substantively reverted

11. The old Fubuki with the 15 km torps brought back as-was as a premium.

12. Strengthening of defense for all high tier ships, to reduce number of collapses and enable more pushing and more competitive gameplay.

13. The div chat/div window should be optional. Tired of having to move that thing whenever I want to access the interface.

14. More more more ops including several for  T9 and for T4-5

15. HE ability of UK BBs reduced except for premiums. HE slinging BBs are very bad for gameplay

16. End to radar through islands. Across the board reductions in radar range and duration, especially Russian bias radar.

17. Better, earlier, more comprehensive communication from WG reps. This includes everything from product introduction (Alaska and the idiotic WV41 debacle for ex) to explanations of chat bans, missions, and rules. WG has a terminal lack of customer orientation.

aa guns have a little more range but u must click on the fighters to shoot at other wise they do not shoot.

if subs come out depth charges that can be hurled at subs.

more ships in the games realisticly 20 or 25 per side just saying???

one team defend a base other team attack there base.

base airports on a island u launch your planes protect with your base guns one each team in a game loose base loose game???

escort transport ships to a point.

MAPS, MAPS, MAPS .

voice activated chat so u do not have to type takes way to long if possible.

 

 

get rid of the usa lines they are so debuffed not worth playing.

Global warming of the icebergs brought on by HE shells... 

Cv refunds and be done with them forever. At least under player control. 

More Ocean.  Or at least less maps that keep my battleships from participating if the team is filled with good cruisers/dds that rush everything down. 

More pve options. 

Btw this is from someone that has ground cvs and even has a premium one. They aren't good for the game under player Control with how damage control/repairs work.

Im all about the gimmicks, and I only really play BBs. As such...

  1. I for one will be severely disappointed if the Russians dont have Okt's special DCP
  2. BB line featuring Radar. It makes the Missouri a ship of its own being able to actively push caps. A line with this would be neato
  3. Line with Torps. Same as above, but instead of Missouri its Gneis/Kii/Tirp. Comes in handy. Nothing big... Maybe dual triple launcher per side? Doesn't have to be a brawling god like Germany, but should be able to take some heat
  4. If CVs get really popular, maybe an AA focused set of battleships. Im talking like high tier Texas's. Should be all but invulnerable to airstrike, and be able to provide for the team as well. DFAA throughout
  5. Its a lot to ask for, but the Ise in WoWS blitz looks HELLA fun. Basically its a BB that can launch a torp squadron or two. How that would work post CV rework is beyond me. 
  6. Something extra with main battery reload... Im not sure if the french frys get it for historical reasons, but its very interesting on BBs. Dont want to overkill it though

The last one? Or the one before that that was kind of diagonal and had A LOT of little islands in the south? (Can’t stand the current one, it’s like a reversed Trident map...)

More Pre-Dreads, my Mikasa is lonely.

Fort Drum as a playable unit.

Island airbases. At least then no one could complain about my aircraft having a ‘hidden’ base. (Preferably in conjunction with Fort Drum.)

Old Islands of Ice map brought back

Flooding reduced but can stack. ( I want to be rewarded for setting up a good torps drop but I agree that flooding from 1 torp is currently excessive)

Dismount all flags button. 

I like you listing idea

Gun bloom duration based on caliber. 

More operation scenarios, more for T8 and maybe a T9 map
