Yamamoto Isoruku: skill progression and ship?

  So I have this guy and am planning on using him in the Yam and Mushashi. If going survival build what is the optimal track (he starts at 15 skills) PM is a specialist skill for him would people place him in a DD? How about Zao? I am thinking PT EM AR BoS SI CE to start with FP last but is th e4 point climb to 19 going to be too long?

I have mine on Zao, it benefits from EM a lot. Yam seems like an ok choice to, I just don't really care for Yam so..

I'm actually running him in my Atago right now, because I already have a highly trained IJN BB Captain.

I put him on my stock Nagato and he is going up the line to Yamamoto when I get it.

 

I went with PT, EM, BoS, FP, PM, AFT, (SI, EL). The ones in () are what I plan and the others make a 15pt Cmdr. AFT for the secondaries and AA range, but the AA range buff is going away on update 8.0. May change it up.

BTW, I'm a co-op main, so a PvP main might want a different lineup. I do play some PvP, but only about 1 PvP of every 8-10 PvE games.
