The Mk 16 gun on Des Moines and Salem was a DP gun.  See 12:30 on the vid.  I don't believe it was ever used in anger, though.

Yes... I know... I was (jokingly) asking when Des Memes and Salem would get them in game....

My take away. 

They really need a separate person to push a button to send the powder up the hoist?

Couldn't engineer something to eliminate the poor guy sitting on the floor pulling a rope for the shell grabbing claw.

How they evade cook-offs? They have to have massive airblow system and water cooldown. And NEVER allow  shell or powder bags stay long in chamber.
