If the clan has the proper (very oil-expensive) buildings built you get a few % additional coal every time you earn coal. There are also steel buildings that do similar but with steel. Our clan has the +5% steel and now +7% coal buildings. We can eventually buff them to +10% each. As you can see in Vladeshi's second screenshot below, he got 1,500 steel from the SC and another 75 steel from our bonus building. Depending on when he got the 1,200 coal, he either got 60 extra coal (+5%) or 84 extra coal (+7%). Right now with our +7% coal building, you get another 400 coal for every 14.3 coal bins. Yup- that clan coal bonus came in VERY handy during the snowflakes mission, too. We only have 2/3 levels built, but all that extra coal did indeed add up. And then surprised to get my first ship from a super container, the Monaghan. I don't play DD's BUT it did come with a snowflake, which let me finish off my grind anyway.
