The torpedoes have 8 km range so you can stealth torp from a direction and approach your target from another direction to lure your target to the torps dropped earlier. Just drop, don't wait the aiming converging so the torps can cover more area and saturate the water around the target with 12 deep water torps. While the target struggles to doge those crossing torps, you can come back with 12 more torpedoes and finish it.

......show us one video of a squadron dropping 12 torps at once and then coming around for a second pass with another 12. I'll wait while everyone else over-reacts to the impossible.

This is certainly interesting. Probably not intended, but this could make the lives of cruisers and battleships losing their spotting even more miserable.

Hmm, 6.1km concealment planes.

I guess it's no big deal that AFT's not going to work and AA ranges are going to drop accordingly...

Spotted by a plane you can't see at 6.2km out, Minotaur will have something like 7.4km air concealment with the CE-to-10% standardization.

Sounds awful.

To be fair it is,  to an extent.  CV's are losing alpha damage,  cross dropping,  largely losing the ability to interfere with the enemy CV,  and the ability to do multiple things at once ((Spot while dealing damage,  dealing damage to multiple targets at once,  defending allies while dealing damage WHILE scouting)).  What CV's are gaining is the ability to deal constant damage and to keep damage control parties on constant cooldown while taking better advantage of flooding and fire,  while also helping to strip off AA without risking chunks of their hangar.

Maybe a nerf to all those god level players and  a buff to scrubs. :)

Now every Tom, [edited] and Harry including me will play CVs.
