That quest by itself can't be anywhere close to 160 CAD.  It's only about $60 down here.  Your $160 CAD number sounds like the cost for the super-bundle of the PE Freidrich, the "quest", 9k gold, 9M credits, a bunch of flags, a 10 point captain, and so on and so on.  (About $130 in USD, BTW.)   For the most part, the super bundle seems like a pretty good value, though the price tag is quite steep, no doubt.

It’s all about perception mate! While you don’t seem to think it’s worth it, @Crucis does. Doesn’t make either of you wrong.

Just come buy it in the US and sneak it back across the border like Canadians do all the time where I live. :Smile-_tongue:

10,038 steel, 29 Warships premium days, 4 $1 Santa crates, 1 $3 Santa crate, up to 15,800 doubloons, 9M credits and lots of flag and camos for the Steel Prinz campaign

Or go F2P and get 4,019 steel

Let's see.  The campaign standalone is $60 USD.  The ship standalone is, IIRC, $32 USD.  The 9k gold and 9M credits probably would price out at around $40 to $45 USD, just as a guess.  The 10 point captain is worth maybe about $15-ish USD (just guessing).  The 150 of each of the standard economic flags is probably worth about $25 USD.  And the x3 XP for your first  25 battles is worth something.

If you don't like how WG prices its items, that's your problem.  You can choose to pay it or not.  The very fact that some people ARE willing to pay that price is why they'll continue to charge that price.  It's a  basic economic principle.  The value of an item is what people are willing to pay for it.  But remember that WG has set the prices based on what they know people are willing to spend to buy those items.  You may not be willing to pay it.  And if so, that's your choice.  But others disagree and will pay that price.  Hence, the value of that item is set by their paying customers.

Ok, fine.  But they regularly put other interesting things behind high paywalls too.  Like the Dusty Rodes captain in the mega West Virginia bundle.  Or the unique flags that are invariably included with new ship mega bundles.  It's just the way they do things.  It's an incentive to try to get customers to buy the mega bundles.  Deal with it.

Agreed, got my Prince o’ Cash as well.  Probably just gonna sell the flags for credits at somepoint, awfully close to the 1000 mark in at least two of them.

I know everything else is something I want and will find a use for.  Besides, only the SECOND 2019 steel quest is in it, the first quest is in all of them, I believe.

Edit: see one of Kizarvexis’ posts for location of the normal 2019 steel quest.
