Those missions are just to track your progress and the reward is just a place holder. The actual rewards are awarded to the winner at the end.

I don't see any such personal mission? How does one get that?

Opt-in to the Twilight Battle weekend event.

Its funny, I was just going to come on here and say something like "I wonder how long it will be till someone makes a post complaining about how hard those missions are".

This community never disappoints :)

Actually completing either of the missions should get you a special "Undead" achievement to recognize that you have no life.

The medal could be a 2 liter bottle of Mountain Dew wearing a Depends. :Smile_teethhappy:

I'm sitting here trying to figure out how long it would take to get 10k torp hits in this game, and, honestly, my mind is shutting down over it.

I think it could be done reasonably in 2k matches lol

Depends on the bote, and the people you're firing them at. I mean, we can go a whole day without landing a fish, these days.

Still, 2k matches. Just, ouch. Playing nothing but torp firing ships, it would take the average player like a year and half, if not more. I mean, OUCH.

The goals are a bit crazy in my opinion. I don't think anybody is going to reach them. But I think they are just there for people to measure how much they have done for the event.

The picture this paints of the stereotypical over-invested gamer is actually quite scary.

I've seen such position inflation before, in a PBEM game called Beyond the Stellar Empire that ran for 25 years.  Although everyone recognized the inflation, the GMs never would make the radical changes necessary to curb it.  Eventually starships and colonies got so big that they ran into limits imposed by the digital representations of the numbers involved.

WoWS isn't going there.  (fortunately)

A World of Warcraft boss ran into limits.  He basically had to be beat down to almost nothing, then he got healed back up as part of the fight before he was finally killed off.  Not long after that they changed some limits...
