Now that the regular WG client automatically creates relay files stored in a replay folder does the Steam Client do this also. In the WG client that folder can be accessed and those files deleted preventing eventual drive space problems. It appears that in the Steam Client folder/files can not be accessed to delete replay files that could eventually cause drive space problems.

Did you check E:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\World of Warships ?
It must work as intended for all platforms.

@turbo07 thanks I found the folder and deleted the files. Since there replay files are auto saved and take up disk space that could easily become a problem there should be a setting to auto delete them after x number of days or limit the number currently stored and auto deleting the oldest once that limit is reached. Or maybe an on/off toggle setting. In Dec 2015 my very good compu hard disk crashed due to low disk space that I was not aware of during a Windows 10 update. Stored Steam games replay files may have been the reason.

Just maybe try reading the 7.11 release notes,

Creating Replays

With the release of Update 0.7.11, you will be able to record replays of your battles in World of Warships. Every player will have their 30 most recent battles recorded and stored in the /replays folder. Any previous, "older" replays will be overwritten. This feature will allow players to provide more details of any occurring issue when contacting Player Support. You can adjust the number of recorded replays using the maxReplaysToSave setting in the configuration file.

@CAPTMUDDXX Sorry I didn't mention it. The autodelete functionality is standart (max number of old replays is 30) for all platforms, so there is no need to delete old replays by yourself if there is enough space. Also the number may be changed manually.

Understandable. You would think when they finally getting around to adding a feature that has been asked for since forever that it would much higher up in the release notes than the second last thing mentioned.

Look in the engine_config.xml file, found in the res folder. You should find it near the end,

<replays>
        <dirPath>replays</dirPath>
        <pathBase>EXE_PATH</pathBase>
        <versioned>false</versioned>
        <maxReplaysToSave>30</maxReplaysToSave>
    </replays>
