If this is front or back of the ship, there is some that have that friendly slope where a torp will pass under the ship.

I fired only two of my torps and they both hit the mark, yet one nearly hit an ally on the other side of the enemy. Never seen anything like it.

It damaged the ship and went further through an island. Looks like a bug.

Thing is, I was single launching at knife fight ranges into the middle of the ship. It did damage, but went straight through. This wasn't even the killing torp, but one that hit the still living ship.

Thank you for reporting it. We have this bug in our list. So there is no need for you to submit a ticket. 
It's very rare bug. I've seen only 3-4 times and only in reports. 
I expect it to be fixed in our future updates.
