A few moments ago my cat Fry died.

When he came to my life 17 years ago he always shows confidence and strenght, even he lost a paw, when he was a few weeks old.

He was a good friend and companion also in times, when our life went through stormy seas.

He teached our Siberian girl the power of the 5 claws and it's better to be a friend of a cat then chasing them.

While his spirit still tried to fight, his body gave away from a kidney failure within a few days.

His trusted sailor Bender, princess Lana, my wife and I will miss him.

Always a calm sea and a handspan of water under your keel when you now sail new, uncharted waters.

I'm sorry for your loss. I didn't know your Fry, but he sounds like a good cat. To lose a long time companion is difficult, and it is the pain you feel now that tells you just how important Fry was. I hope that the impact Fry left on your life will never be forgotten.

So sorry to hear. The loss of a loyal pet is always a terrible thing. I'll toast to his memory tonight.

Fry was fortunate to have a loving forever home as you were to have such a companion as part of your family. My condolences.

Since we were already dead before we were born, I see life as a temporary window into this bubble of a creation. We are here to learn and spiritually grow before we move on to what is next. I don't mourn the dead, but I miss them. But in turn, we will all pass from this reality to the next one. The key is to do your best with what you have now.

The loss of a pet is a very sad time. Try to remember that he brought you happiness for so long.

Sorry 'bout your kitty. We do get attached to the little rascals.

:cap_old:I've tamed a fearsome predator and now call it my pet.

:cat_paw:Hey, slave, get off the Internet; it's time for my food!

I'm sorry for your loss.

It's not easy losing a pet, especially when one is considered part of the family.

Even I felt that way when my cat Simon passed away a few years ago (sadly on my birthday).

Even though he's gone, he'll always be there in my memories.

You and your family have my sympathies.

I'm curious about him losing his paw.  There's a cat on YT (Cassidy the Miracle Cat) that lost both back paws as an infant.  He's grown now, and they are still investigating possible prostheses and coping mechanisms.  Perhaps there is something to be learned from Fry.
