Frequent CVs at lower tiers but seemingly none higher up?

As per the topic title there is, in my experience, CVs frequently populating the lower tiers then promptly vanishing higher up. Haven't seen one in over 15 games at least between 6 - 10. As I really don't know does this indicate the changes being made in the rework? Are they too difficult to manage at higher tiers and players either give up the line or remain lower down? Some people seem to claim that CVs should simply be removed though wouldn't this require a more enormous rework removing all the AA features of ships and relevant game mechanics? Forgive me I do get confused when I see people heavily criticise what would seem to be a content inclusion and improvement for all. I play every ship class relatively uniformly, thought the game was intended that way instead of blinkering down a specialisation. I guess when changes come they don't favour or 'punish' you directly but simply alter how you play across the entire spectrum.

The earning are nerfed along with an already low population.

I don't play then because of my rig but que times are also a problem

With lower tiers a +1 tier match won't make life too difficult but higher tiers and a +1 mm wreaks havok with planes.  You are more likely to run out of planes plus the general dps goes up so you might even run out of targets before earning enough to break even.

Ah I see now what they are trying (and doing an insightful job!) with the rework. Looking forward to its release and seeing a large part of the game return and become again relevant. So sick of seeing consumables and armament on higher tier ships just go to waste.

I haven't advanced beyond Lexington and Hiryu so take my word with a grain of salt. I really do enjoy playing CVs though. Up to T7, which can get T9 games, there aren't as many T9 ships dominating the MM, so a CV can still do fine even going against top tier AA. Since CVs are rarer and not as devastating, players around here don't seem to equip DFAA as often, making for easier strikes. In T8+ you will run into a lot more punishing AA, and a lot more salty players who will rage on you both when you are winning and when you are losing because your influence on games is greater. At AA in T4-5 games is bad, so you can get a few strikes off easily, but losing a flight wing will often defang your CV. I say T6 is the balance sweet spot because you get strafing and manual drops, but there is less salt from players and AA is not punishing.

T5 Bogues are lining up for battle in Co-op, which means lots of green bots for some Bogue teams after thirty seconds.

Carriers have been broken for a long time.  Hope the carrier rework is good.
