No really i did and the West Virginia 44 looks nothing like a Colorado Class anymore.

This is a similar load out to what the USS Maryland, a sister ship to the USS Colorado, received.  Both Colorado and Maryland were partially refit just before Pearl Harbor, so they mostly just had AA mounts added throughout the war.  The Colorado kept her original 127mm loadout, whereas the Maryland had hers replaced with the newer 127mm/38cal twin mounts in a straight line as you pictured above.  Only the West Virginia received the full reconstruction after Pearl Harbor, and that was due to her being so badly damaged that she needed it anyways.

The other two US Standards to received the full mack-daddy reconstructions were the USS Tennessee and the USS California.  The reasoning behind this was due to the fact that they did not received the major modernization refits that the previous Nevada, Pennsylvania, and New Mexico classes received during the 1930's.
