What is clan wars going to be like?

I am just wondering what people thing the general make up of ships will be for clan wars type battles in this game.

Cruisers, destroyers, a couple Battleships and maybe a carrier. Best guess but am thinking the cruisers and destroyers will be more prominent since Battleships are slow and Carriers are more like arty IMHO.

I would say 2-3 aircraft carriers, 2-4 battle ships to form a main push and leave one to support off flank, then mainly a lot of cruisers due to speed and armament for the flank fights, then like 2-4 destroyers to find a hole and exploit flanks.

Why is everyone expecting lots of cruisers, if that is true that would be so awesome, I don't like being forced into a playstle, and cruisers seem very cool.  But if a team comes with like 4 carriers and 11 battlships they can control 2 cap points with little in the way.  The self heals and HP will out play a cruiser team all day, unless they are all jap crusiers with torpedo's.

Well I don't like just being a Pub allstar all day long.  I think WOW development team is far better than eaither of the two parent companys.  I mean just look at this product so far, they are far better imo.  Do they all use the same engine?

Well, remember most of the streamers I've seen have used the best possible rigs, this might be YMMV and you don't know it yet.

i havent played the game up yet so if im talking out of my ***, let me know. I expect lots of cruisers because they seem to be the most balanced, (speed, firepower, etc)

Yeah, drop the "clan" terminology and use "Fleet" or "Task Force" (my preference) would be more appropriate. It may also get rid of alot of the connotations that go along with the word "clan"...

 

 

Clan, noun 

3. a group of people, as a clique, set, society, or party, especially asunited by some common trait, characteristic, or interest:

a clan of actors and directors.

 

Fleet, noun

1. the largest organized unit of naval ships grouped for tactical or other purposes.

 

Task Force, noun

1. Navy, Military. a temporary grouping of units under one commander,formed for the purpose of carrying out a specific operation or mission.
