Joining a clan might be a good way to meet like minded players who like to division up. You will typically need a headset and mic and join their channel in discord/teamspeak etc. Your gameplay, speaking generally here, should improve and also winrate.

Just an idea for you to mull over and consider. Plus you get the economic benefits through using the clan base...and clans vary from ultra serious to casual fun. Regardless, it's a good way to meet other players.

Edit---just noticed you're already in a clan...if they don't socialize or division up etc, maybe consider a move?

Well simply asking people to be your friend generally doesn't work, you usually have to get to know folks first.

A good way to meet new people and gain friends is to join one of the many conversations that take place here on the forum

Heyo~

One of the best ways to find people in this game is to join a clan that is not for Lone-Wolves and Oil-Farmers (not meant in a degrading way, they even say so themselves). In the Clan Recruitment section you will find various groups of players, with different motives and mindsets.

Scroll through, see what suites your taste the best, then join their TeamSpeak Server or Clan Discord or if they are a bit behind join their Skype (lol). Then chat a bit, see who you click with, and let things evolve. Just don‘t try to force it :p

Another option is to use the Forum Community, be active around here and then you‘ll also eventually see who you get along well with.

In general the pistol-on-your-chest-approach is not a successfull one, friendships need time to build up.

Cheers~

getting to know people by interacting with people on the forums or community discords is a good place to start.
