Two decades ago I was participating on forums on the Prodigy service. In the 1990s social media was AOL or Prodigy so I got to know some interesting people one of whom was James Ennes who was on the bridge of the U.S.S. Liberty when it was attacked by Israeli warplanes in 1967. He wrote a book, Assault On The Liberty, and was under constant attack by a group of people because of his book. They claimed his book was not true but in the 2000s government documents were released which proved his book was true. Because I had befriended him I also came under attack from this group for eight years until I left Prodigy in 2000.

If Jefferson Davis had not gotten drunk and passed out during the 1826 eggnog riot U.S. history might be much different.

At 99 years young, World War II veteran Harold Whitish stopped by The Todd Herman Show on Thursday.

On the morning of Dec. 7, 1941, Whitish was on a guard ship escorting the U.S.S. Lexington aircraft carrier into Pearl Harbor.

Whitish was just 60 miles away from Pearl Harbor when bombs starting falling, and sat down with KTTH’s Todd Herman to talk about that fateful day, what being a WWII veteran means to him, and the worst injury he ever suffered.

The caption for the first picture is wrong. I don't about the accuracy of all the other captions.
