If you don't run premium time, buying a single premium day at a time when you have a day to maximize it is a pretty good return for your doubloons.  I try to do this when there is a +% first win bonus, particularly.

1000 from super container and 6500 from warspite via arsenal total 7500. It's always good to get free stuff now and again.

What to spend it on?

How did you get 220 sovereigns already??

If you bought the crates, then the gold isnt free...

Consider permacamo for ships that you like, do well in, and intend to keep (and which don't already have it) - or higher-tier ships for which the grind is long and difficult and you don't want to blow free XP on getting past them.

If I can scrape up the Sovereigns for it, I'm rebuying Warspite. What's permacamo at Tier IX cost?

1) Buy Premium time when needed and you know you'll be available to use it

2) Buy permacamo when available for your keepers (esp. T10)

3) Keep it for the future (that's what I do) - Comes in handy when you need to retrain or respec a captain

You never know what you'll need it for. Don't waste it early.

Permacamo for a high tier ship you love playing.  Best return I can think of.  Lasts forever, whereas premium time runs out on a clock.
