Are Sims guns better than normal USA DDs?

I just got done with the Dynamo scenario and this one guy had 16 kills and i was watching him shooting and his shell arcs were flat and laser beam fast, like twice as fast and on a flat arc compared to mine even when we were at roughly the same range. I thought USN DD guns were all the same basically at upper tiers but this guys guns were railguns even more so than Russian DDs. I guess thats what you pay for in a premium ship.

The sims has the same guns. The schnellboots tend to be spotted at close range which helps to take the shell arc and hits before the initial muzzle velocity bleeds off.

0.7 faster reload than the other T7's, but one fewer gun. Slightly worse dispersion.

The USN DD line has the same guns from Farragut up to Gearing. They might differ a bit in range, rate of fire and dispersion, but they have the same ballistic arcs and shell velocity. Sims is no exception or outlier.

I have never heard Sims guns referred to as RAIL guns or laser like...

Maybe if I got to within 5 km they would be....

But in Randoms, that close usually means instant death....
